    I got to go with Dan O'Brien. Decathletes require Strength, Speed, Coordination, and Endurance. If that doesn't fit the standard of a great athlete, I don't know what does.

    Is this poll being sponsored by Rob "ESPN resident idiot" Dibble? (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, Rob Dibble was arguing last week that bike racing is not a sport, as our illustrious thread starter does)

    God I hate the Dan Patrick show . . .

    babe dickinson doesnt count either because women are only a little more athletic then sissy bike riders

    i'll say jim thorpe...followed closely by jackie robinson, who was just a sick athlete.

    but in my lifetime....bo jackson. and i'm not sure anyone has been even close to bo in my lifetime.

    Best athlete (ie: person who excelled the most at any one sport) = Wayne Gretzky

    Most athletic (ie: good at all sports) = Either Bo Jackson or a decathalete (Michael Smith?)
