The playoffs are going to be a blast… both as a test and a learning experience for our squad. So there will be highs and lows and we gotta realize that.

As a Rockets fan, of course, we want to win and shock the world, but realistically, it might not happen this year. The biggest challenge? We don’t have a true superstar closer yet. Unless we’re blowing teams out, those final five minutes are going to be a tough puzzle to solve.

I’m not saying we don’t have a shot, but we don’t have an SGA, Jokic, Ant, LeBron, Luka, Curry, Ja, Booker, or KD….. at least not yet. But could Jalen Green become that guy? Absolutely. Could Sengun take that leap? No doubt. That’s why this playoff run is about more than just winning… it’s about growth and seeing what pieces we need for next season. Don’t get me wrong, it would be f****** amazing if we reached the finals this year.

No matter what happens, I’m pumped for the playoffs. The progress this team has made is unreal, and I truly believe we’ll be in the final champion series sooner than people think.

Worst is a tie between OKC and the referees

    Best is anybody else.

I would like to take a shot at ending the Warriors run - it would remind me of when Dirk Mavericks flushed the Malone- Stockton Jazz down the toilet

This is who we're probably looking at #7 after the results of the play-in: Warriors, T-Wolves or Clippers.

Those 3 are currently bunched together at 6/7/8 and if the Grizzlies continue sinking like a stone and fall into the 7v8 game, they will lose.

Let's hope Curry returns soon so the Warriors long road trip doesn't turn into a free fall because the shine of starting 13-1 with Jimmy Butler is long gone.

The dream scenario might be that the Grizz fall into the play-in, with the Kings as their opponent.

    Easiest to hardest.

    1) Kings
    2) Wolves
    3) Suns
    4) Grizzlies
    5) Clippers
    6) Nuggets
    7) Thunder
    8) Lakers
    9) Warriors

I want absolutely NO part of Steph and playoff Jimmy.

Can’t see us beating Lebron/Luka in any scenario.

Lakers and Warriors I have in the impossible to beat see you next year tier.

I view the Clippers, Nuggets and Thunder all in the same tier of tough to beat.

    Anybody 1-4 please.

That makes no sense Smith shot 30% from 3 his rookie year, 36 last year, 35 this year, all on identical volume

I think the Lakers and Warriors are more vulnerable than many us think. Those rosters are top heavy and have some age and injury concerns.
I know many of us have Warriors PSTD, but if Curry is not lighting it up, there is not much firepower there. I think we can kill them on the boards and hound them on defense.
Maybe this is recency bias, but I don't think the Lakers are a shoo-in, either. The Lakers defense is so exploitable. Of course, LeBron can amp up the intensity in the playoffs, but who else is there? Reaves? Luka? Who is playing post defense there? Who is getting rebounds for them?

Obviously, the Thunder are the favorites. Denver, Minnesota and Grizzlies beating the Rockets wouldn't be a world shattering disappointment, either.
From where I am sitting, though, the Rockets should not be counted out against anybody.

Worriers have that one shooter in history.

Rockets do not have one shooter.

Jimmy is practically old man Amen.....with a seasoned shot.
