In no particular order (of course, this doesn't include jazz records): Note: I still count the Beatles as 60's only so they didn't make my list. Van Halen I, II Queen - Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera Kansas - Leftoverature Joni Mitchell - Court and Spark Carol King - Tapestry Elton John - Yellow Brick Road Billy Joel - 52nd Street, The Stranger Dan Fogelberg - The Innocent Age Steely Dan - Aja, Goucho, Pretzel Logic Led Zepplin - Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic Cheap Trick - Heaven Tonight Yes - Fragile Supertramp - Breakfast in America Rush - 2112, Fly By Night Earth, Wind & Fire, Parliment Funkadelic (pretty much anything they did in the 70's) Marvin Gaye - What's Goin' On (maybe my #1) That seems to be about enough though I'm sure I've forgotten some. ------------------ Me fail English? That's unpossible.
sorry for being the moron who can't stick to the topic but what do you think is the best album EVER mine has got to be ACDC Back In Black with Pink Floyd The Wall in a close second ------------------ KD 12-21-99
Now, I have to disagree with you on this one. Prince only released two albums in the 70s -- "For You" and "Prince." And they both sucked. It wasn't until 1980's "Dirty Mind" that he really started to shine. Of course, that's just my opinion. ------------------
well, we will have to agree to disagree because I thought "For You" was great. I thought "Dirty Mind" and "Controversy" were in the 70's as well - they all have that pre "1999" sound - oh well. "Soft and Wet" off of "For You" is one of his best songs ever. ------------------
I don't know about ABBA...heard a couple of their tunes, might try to check out more. SmeggySmeg -- actually I do have a record of all of them, mainly for insurance purposes. Nothing fancy though. How bout yourself?

Okay, if you guys are going to play my game, you better get the decade right. These are all from the 80s, not the 70s: High & Dry-Def Leppard VH--Fair Warning Judas Priest--British Steel Get it right, damnit! This is embarrassing! LOL.
wrong-o Freaky .. According to the inside of my album cover AND JP's website, British Steel was released in 79. You got me on the Fair Warning thing tho..my bad. I just REALLY love that album!! ------------------ You would have to pry the ball outta his hands with a crowbar. Bill Worrell referring to Cuttino.
Can't think of 10, but: Alice Coopers Greatest Hits 1974 is a really good, good album. I know he's really cheesy and rich now, but this was a damn good album. It has-I'm Eighteen, Schools Out, Elected, and all the rest. Buy it or Napster it! ------------------
