I was a Thundercats guy. Also liked SilverHawks, He-Man, etc. Never really got G.I. Joe though, and the movie looks lame.

Thundercats all the way. The cartoon built up a mythology that was deeper than anything else of the time.
Her standard issue yellow reporter's jumpsuit (?) was always half-unbuttoned. Tease. TMNT also taught us impressionable youths self-referential comedy. Who needs to read the post-post-modernists when you have Raphael? TMNT wins.
Voltron Transformers GI Joe He-Man Thundercats Go-Bots MASK and moes, stop arguing and just admit that you were a HUGE "JEM" fan
Don't know what the **** you're talking about but it sounds like SOME BULLLLLLLLLL****. I dare any of you mother****ers to say you never watched Rainbow Brite, the Care Bears, or Strawberry Shortcake.
I would say it was as popular as ever in the early nineties, but it did start in 87 and was popular right from the start. The series ran longer than it should have.
The correct answer is Dungeons and Dragons. Venger and Tiamat were badass villians. The acrobat chick wore skimpy clothes. Of the ones listed, Transformers was clearly the best. As far as I know, it was the only one that spawned a cartoon movie featuring the final appearance of Orson Wells.
I'd actually say the first 4 episodes of TMNT was ****ing awesome. Then it seemed like someone else got a hold of it and it turned into complete **** real fast. very few of any of these cartoons are any good at all. Strip away the nostalgia and it's utter **** for the most part.
Its not the best, and if you watch it these days it doesn't stand the test of time at all. I mean its just what you enjoyed when you were a kid. We weren't all watching Columbo and ****.
