    Dude this is one of the biggest shocks in entertainment! He was a really good comedian. RIP Mac :(

    I never was much of a fan, but he brought joy and laughter to a lot of people. He helped people forget about thier troubles for a while.

    For that, I thank you Mr. Mac.

    Bernie Mac reminded me a lot of robin harris, who was also from the southside of chicago and who died young. for those who don't remember, he was kidd's father in House Party and he played as one of the guys sitting on the street corner in Do The Right Thing.

    But i didn't realize this till after googling, harris was only 36, dude died of a heart attack, and wiki says he ran track in college. that's unbelievable, if any of you remember him from his movies, he looked liked he could be 50 years old.

    Wow, I had no idea Harris was so young when he died and you are right, by looking at hime you would have thought he was much older.
