I like the idea. I might leave out Artest and Arenas though, Agent-0 is overrated given his price tag and too injury prone, which is our biggest problem. Jamison is an impressive all-round team player and costs less than half of T-Mac. However, I doubt Wizards would want to dump their 2 best players for T-mac.

I don't think anyone should listen to what a GM has to say in the public. You get a distinct advantage by not letting other teams know what you want to do, and it's obvious you want to decrease the competition as well as the price for those players. By everything Morey said before then and everything he's done and doing, he's definitely saving up 2010.

If we're going to seriously consider this trade, you have to include Arenas if you're going to include McGrady for the salaries to match. No way around that - one damaged good for another.

And you're right - if the Wizards had any brains they wouldn't do this (although I havent checked when salaries expire).

If we all think that Tmac and Artest are ball stoppers on offense, why do we even consider bringing Vince Carter who is a blackhole on offense.

    Please, no Vince Carter.

Carter is far from his end. He does amazing things that will hypen the team up. From his monsterous dunks out of no where to his game wining shots. He would a great addition to this team.

No team is dumb enough to take T-Mac off our hands.

I'd take a 32 year old Carter who can still play like hes in his 20's than a 29 year old T-Mac who plays like he's in his late 30's

Exactly. At this point, it'd have to be a bad contract player for another temporary bad contract player that would come off the books soon.

I don't think Carter will be helpful to Rockets or any better than TMAC

Artest, Rafer and Head for Carter is roughly a salary match. Then we could start TMac at PG. :D

the nets are not going to trade lopez you can book that any trades the nets makes will end if the other team ask for harris or lopez unless you are taking about getting back a kobe, wade or lebron but thats not going to happen

Tmac should be traded...NOT Artest. Artest is solid and play with determination...something you can't find in Tmac. I don't give a shyt if Tmac contract is up...just ship him out already. Bring in some new blood. This team is in desperate.

Because you haven't watched Carter play this season - the guy is an absolute MONSTER; 3/4ths of the posts in this thread are based on myth/Toronto.

He's a legit superstar still and based on the way he's been playing - he'll be one for years to come.

Vince Carter, 32 years old and too long contract ... I'd rather sign D-Wade in 2010! Sorry VC, but no thanks!
