Is Carter really worth passing up 2010? I think not. That FA class is too big to pass up. Remember, Carter has received similar criticisms like his cousin. Like T-Mac, he has forced a trade and his durability and work ethic were questionable. Sure he's putting up good numbers but he's playing on the Nets and they need him to put up buckets. If we trade T-Mac, we trade him after this season where his contract will be worth gold.

If you just look at their production this season, Carter is killing McGrady. I'd make the swap. Not sure about the rest of the parts, but I'd take Carter today over the McGrady of today. I want the Rocks to win this year.

I think what he's trying to say is that there are some very big names in the 2010 off season, but there's seemingly about 20-25 teams trying to land them. Meaning that even if we have the funds, it'd be a long shot to acquire one of them. Especially the really big ones (LeBron, Wade, Bosh).

I'm of the opinion that it's better to get better NOW. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, as they say.

LMAO. Toronto isn't that stupid. Bosh right now is almost twice the value of Shemac. Another thing is that NO FANS want this Shemac back in TO.

Toronto can get a much better deal for Bosh if they decided to trade him than a broken down Shemac.

    No deal ^

Rockets would be financially handicapped for years to come.

I think its a good trade, but lopsided for the Rockets in terms of talent.

The bulls would never do that trade, they have enough inconsistent power forwards with the length to play center. Swift, Tyrus, and Noah?? That's going to give the coach lots of headaches. Makes no sense for them.

I am excited that Swift might come back to Rockets if a deal could be done.

i've watched tons of nets games this year since yi's around now........

carter would be a big updgrade over tmac right now, he plays with effort on a hopeless team.......it's basically him, devin harris, and a buncha nbdl talent....he's actually deferred to let devin harris grow, showing he doenst have a huge ego, he's still clutch, he's hitting 40 foot pull ups to win game every month........not saying it's a great move, but certainly not because VC doesnt have the makeup to help this team out.
