No, ATW says the source is biased, and that we can’t trust sources that are biased.

Send him a PM for good unbiased sources on the subject, so you may acquire the one real truth.

    Correct.

(Actually, I responded to this one already - having about 50% approval rating is typical for democracies. Israel is one, in contrast to all its Muslim neighbours.)

Right, it's not atypical, but I was originally responding to a post saying jew haters hate Netanyahu. Which could be true, but my point is there are a ton of people who don't hate jews, tons of jewish people, who can also hate (or dislike, or disapprove, not support etc) him as well.

It's like the lazy tactic of saying "white supremacist hate democrats", we can see what's intended there.

Similar to a point we discussed before where you said - there's no way one can want a ceasefire without being anti-Israel, where I pointed out that some polls show over half of Americans want a ceasefire, and there have been polls showing the majority of Israelis would support a ceasefire in exchange for the hostages.

The yearning to paint everyone who isn't in exact agreement with ones views as jew haters, anti-isreal, or evil in general is not great. It's making terrible assumptions about huge swaths of people, for who knows what reason.

The person in Israel I talk to most about the situation very much dislikes Netanyahu - this person is more on the "left" in Israel.

But he said to me - after October 7, there is no right and left in Israel anymore - there is right, and more right.

    He still wants Netanyahu gone.

I won't pretend to understand all the internal dealings in Israel and who is right and wrong there - all I can say is that from where I stand, Netanyahu has been doing the right things to defend against the Jihadist 7-front war against Israel that was started on Oct. 7.

There is a huge difference between being critical of certain actions of a leader on the one hand and being completely silent about Jihadist terror, but then hatefully saying Netanyahu should spend the rest of his life in jail on the other hand. That's where people like @Deckard are.

I can accept people saying they disagree with Netanyahu and/or Israel because of specific actions.

I cannot accept people who are silent about Jihadist genocide and solely hate on Israel/Netanyahu. They are on the wrong side of history, they side with evil.

I think a lot of the people who would like a ceasefire aren't evil, they are just ill-informed and allowed themselves to be influenced by Iranian/Chinese propaganda. Yeah, "ceasefire" always sounds better than "war". But these people are the equivalent of superficially (un)informed people who would have demanded a ceasefire against Nazi Germany in March 1945. No, this war needs to be won by Israel, just like it needed to be won against Nazi Germany. Then the fire will cease.

Also - if Hamas were to hand over the hostages and lay down its weapons and cease the terror attacks, the war would end. It's Hamas who has consistently refused to do so. The woke crowd conveniently ignores that fact.

The hate on the left against Jews who dare to fight back runs deep, very deep.
