Not true, if we make advancements in Cryonics - Fox News viewers/Krauthammer Readers/Benghazenthusiasts will remain a force for centuries.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the families of victims of the 2012 Benghazi, Libya, attack have reached out to lawmakers to ask them not to launch another probe into the incident.

    This doesn't fit the narrative.

Did the democratic party somehow threaten the families into taking this stance? The scandal grows.

Lefties in a tizzy. Do you guys have ANY idea how stupid you are going to look if the committee actually *does* find something? I wouldn't be so confident if I were you. We already know that the administration purposefully misled the American public about the nature pof the attacks - the only questions left on that score are why and on whose orders. We already know that the administration has ignored subpoenas and withheld requested documents from investigators - the question is why and what do those docs say. We already know that repeated warnings about security at the annex were ignored - the only questions are why and on whose orders (firewall Sec Clinton much, eh?).

And just something special for those lefties who will try and blame the security lapse on sequestration - and they will, once they have nothing else to fall back on:

Sequestration’s shocking job toll: One measly bureaucrat in entire government

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/may/7/sequestration-cost-only-one-job-entire-government-/

You are going to regret trying to blow this one off, Lefties. Why do you think so many Dems are torn on what they should do here? They see the dangers even if you don't. The American people can handle occasional incompetence from their leaders - we expect it. But We do NOT like our leaders lying to us about it, and then trying to continue lying to us even after they're caught.

Treeman - doesn't matter and don't care. If and when that time comes, than it is what it is. Until then, if ever, it doesn't matter. The current reality is right now, outside their own base, no one give a fk about what the Republicans is doing here. They already lost all credibility and looks like idiot yelling wolf constantly.

A hint - there is a reason why the Iraq war is done and over with and the country has moved on. It's done and over with.

    Hey treeman,

Will you let this go if the latest investigation leads to the exact same answers as the previous ones? Or will you continue your clown show?

Something tells me you are a complete hypocrite.

Which is, of course, why we are having this investigation. The administration could have prevented this by coming clean before. All they had to do was cooperate and tell the truth. They did neither, so here we are - a second investigation that will have real teeth.

As for libs echoing the "there's no 'there' there" refrain... to a warning that it might not be a good strategy if there is actually something there - I'd expect nothing less from you guys. Hell, they could probably find Sec Clinton personally ordered weakened security and ordered a cover-up herself (which is not, of course, what likely happened) and you guys would still say there's nothing to see here.

The American people don't like being lied to. As for those of you who think no one outside of the Republican base cares about this... Are you now saying that the Republican base constitutes 51% of the US population? Because if so, you guys are never going to win another election again...

51% Think Benghazi Merits Further Investigation; 34% Disagree

    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...hazi_merits_further_investigation_34_disagree

34% sounds about like the Dem base, so it seems to me as the only people who *don't care are the Democratic base voters.

Tread lightly libs. You are in far more danger here than you realize. And on top of that... You *should* care when your government lies to you, no matter who is in charge.

25,000 pages of documents didn't contain "any answers"?

    The clown show continues.

When the liberal intelligentsia begins to describe things as 'conspiracy theories' and begins to bully the other side by calling them 'crazies', 'nutjobs', and other pejorative names, that's when you truly know that they don't want public opinion turning on an issue. They bully, they intimidate, they use sarcastic taunts, they insult. It this the sign of a secure person, who is secure in their beliefs? Obviously it is not. Consider that as you think about this issue.

The terrorist attack in Benghazi was a national tragedy. Americans died, including our ambassador to the country. Al Qaeda reminded us that they are evil and want to do our country harm. This Administration purposefully lied about it. Ben Rhodes' emails confirm this. Hillary Clinton herself lied about it, minimized its impact, and tried her best to divert attention from it. She did this for her personal self interest -- prioritizing that over the country's security. This is a classic Clinton hallmark. Then they tried to cover this matter up -- again, for their own personal gain. This is a disgrace. What small people we have leading the country. Where did leaders with integrity go?

Whether they lied isn't seriously under question. They lied, or at best, they gave us information they had at the time that they probably knew was false.

What is under question is the sincerity with which the "investigators" are conducting their "investigation." If I could say with any confidence that the ones crying foul actually gave a **** about the families of those who were murdered, then I'd be on board also.

They don't really give a ****, and that's why this is a clown show.

I thought you were done talking about Bush and the Iraq war? But ok, so you are supporting an investigation into why we went to war in Iraq right? How could an administration be so fooled into an action that cost 5,000 American lives and wreaked our economy (except for Bush & Cheney's friends of course who benefited)? Why did Bush ignore subpoenas and withhold information?

    Indeed.

who is 'the ones crying foul'? you mean us on this board? you think we don't care about soldiers being left for dead? As for the politicians; many of them are ex-military and certainly care. Making assumptions about people you don't know is the weakest argument one can make. its pathetic.

I don't understand your logic at all. You would be mad about the government publicly blaming a citizen for instigating the death of Americans when the government knew it was false, except you are assuming some politicians you don't know aren't being sincere in their anger and therefore you are not mad? wtf type of logic is that?
