we now know that the administration knew within hours, if not minutes, that the attack in benghazi was a terrorist attack. yet, for days, they insisted it was caused by the video. one can imagine why, and John Stewart does a decent job highlighting the cover up.

The Daily Show
Get More: Daily Show Full Episodes,Political Humor & Satire Blog,The Daily Show on Facebook

Then CNN offers an incredible story about how one of their reports was able to get access to the site, and found Steven's diary. they also wonder why the ambassador was in such a vulnerable spot. The documents detail weapons collection efforts, emergency evacuation protocols, the full internal itinerary of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens’s trip to the city and the personnel records of Libyans who were contracted to secure the mission. The documents have been redacted by the Post to protect the identities of some individuals. the reason for the (attempted) cover up is obvious: Stevens had asked for security, but none was provided. further, admitting the neglect, and admitting that terrorists were attacking the US on 9/11 is to likewise admit the administration's ME policy is collapsing, and that Obama would rather hang out in vegas, than attend intel briefings. 4 americans paid with their lives for the president's detachment.
This is some more political election-year bull**** put forward after people died. I'm not voting for Obama, but the Republicans haven't exactly put forward someone who can, or should, beat him. p.s. basso, will you find Jon Stewart's analysis as viable the next time he dissects your party?
Oh come on man. This is just disingenuous. You've been towing the party line for as long as you've been on this board. You've been obsessively posting their talking points here, ad nauseum. Everything you post agrees, down to the last tiny detail, with the talking points of the Republican party.
I know Basso threads are...well...Basso threads, but this seems like it's actually a big deal. Why is nobody interested in actually discussing this?
Because basso has lost all credibility and it's not worth having a discussion with him. If you or some others had started this thread, it would likely turn out very differently - at least until basso, bigtexxx, etc joined in and took it off the rails.
