He was stashed on IR last year with a shoulder or something bogus like that.

And Adrian Peterson tore up his knees. Clock is ticking.

Damn. Decent cb and an improvement over KJ. KJ has no idea when to turn and look for the ball. He's always close to his WR but just never looks for the ball.

Foster is the better receiver and blocker, one of the best blockers in the NFL. Peterson is just so dominant running the ball. It is a toss up... Except Peterson may never play at a high level again after what can only be described as a horrible injury.

Meh, good for Allen. Dude got paid.

We got him for nothing (off waivers), got a semi-productive season from him, and kept KJ off the field as much as possible..... Okay maybe he deserves an appreciation thread.

He's exactly the type of player the Texans FO need to hit on year in/year out: that cheap, semi-talented player who can produce on a yearly contract. They got their moneys worth with him. There are plenty of 'Jason Allen' level players in free agency.

I always thought he was a much better player than Kareem. Hopefully the Texans can sign another CB off the scrap heap to take time away from Kareem again.

I'd rather have Brandon Harris anyway.

So we essentially traded Jason Allen for Jonathan Joseph, albeit 12 months later. Sounds like a win to me.

If Brandon Harris can't even pull nickel CB duty his first season I doubt he is ever going to amount to anything.

Guys, Brandon Harris was drafted as a nickel cb. He's not taking KJs spot. I think we need to wait another year before really evaluating him. Hopefully we can find another Jason Allen type after roster cuts this summer.

So is Harris basically a bust or does he have something that can be worked with over the course of a full tc with Wade and a healthy season?

I'll take JoJo and his contract over Jason Allen and the extra cap space.

Talent is hard to replace, especially at that position.

    no kidding, right?

Texans are paying 9.75 mil per year for a top 5 guy.

Bengals are paying 4.1 mil per year for waiver wire trash.
