Women can make men do the most unexpected things. And vice versa.

The hyperbole from the hypocrites has gotten a little out of hand. Deeply disturbed? Really? OK, maybe, Freud, but wait… where was I?

Is it tragic that the parents were inconsiderate of their children before risking their lives? Yes. I feel bad for the children and family. Their parents were stupid.

Is it funny how he died? Absopositively.

He didn't die while he was driving drunk.
Didn't drive while... presumably high? with mar1juana in his shoes.
Wasn't killed by the person he committed aggravated assault with a firearm against.
Wasn't killed by any of the parents of the 3 underage girls drunk in his hotel room.
Wasn't killed by the man who claimed he threw a bottle through his window.

He died while arguing with his wife over wedding arrangements by falling from the back of a truck.

Not Big Lebowsky level of comedy, but certainly rain on your wedding day level of teehee.

The Roethlisberger crash… he didn’t die. I didn’t laugh. I thought he was stupid. If prime of his life, king of the city, Super Bowl Champion needlessly throws his life away, because motorcycle helmets messes his hair up, so he wears glasses to follow the law. Stupidity.

I don’t know how you can’t find that funny. (shout out to Moes; it was a female driver that hit Ben by not yielding on her turn.) I didn’t laugh at Henry until I found out he was dead. But I certainly thought he was stupid as well.

A better comparison would be McNair. I didn’t laugh at the announcement of his death. I felt bad for his family. I liked the guy. Wait, additional details? He was killed by his girlfriend at the condo used for sleeping around behind his wife’s back? Now that is funny. Was it sad that his children weren’t able to take him to Father’s Day? Yes. (Props to VY, that was touching. I honestly didn't like VY until he did that.)

Michael Jackson? lol, you mean to tell me he wasn’t already dead? News to me. (I get to reuse that joke when Al Davis dies. Bonus.)

I don’t know who else died recently. I missed the GreatWall bike thread. Can someone necro that?

    Happy Holidays, hypocrites.

P.S. Tiger Woods accident... poor guy. I feel ba... Whaaa... he what? With how many? HILARIOUS.

My funeral will defintely be closed casket....

From my experience open caskets make it 100000x harder for everybody...

For my grandfathers funeral my grandmother only wanted close friends/family to see the body. Everybody she wanted to see him was told to come a half hour before the service with of course her being the last one to say goodbye.

    ..
    ...

Anyways RIP Chris Henry. Dying at 26 is way to young no matter how it happens....

Its amazing how many of you are over here shedding tears for him, while im sure last year the same lot of you were most likely ripping on him mercilessly for all his transgressions.

If you didnt like him in life, quit acting like he was a saint in death.

Thats all im gonna say about it.

You're a douche. How do you know any of us were ripping him of his past transgressions?? Maybe you were. But you can't speak for any one else.

    Shut up.

Some of us were disappointed in his past transgressions. I, for one, was happy to see him finally get it...get that he was wasting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that very few people get. It seemed that he had changed for the better and then this tragic thing happened. It is indeed very sad, regardless of what anyone once thought of him.

Its of no concern to you how people choose to handle death.

You can rip someone in life and mourn them in death, no conflict there.

Thats a very moronic thing for you to say.

First, Ive never said anything about his transgressions. A ton of athletes are raised in less than ideal situations and their actions are a result of their upbringing. So, in many ways, when I see athletes make it to the big stage but allow their personal life to bring them down, I sympathize for them. When a player like Henry turns it around, that makes me incredibly proud that they can see their mistakes and grow up. The fact that he lost his life at such a young age is tragic.

Also, ripping someone for their personal decisions and mourning their death are not mutually exclusive. Doing stupid things is one thing, but dying is something completely different.
