There's no reason to start such a thread. T-Mac is not going to be benched. That is impossible, unless T-Mac is injured.

I think many Rocket fans are angry at T-Mac. Let's be honest: This guy T-Mac has shown his Orlando traits this season. He's practically given up on the season, and has caused chemistry problems. And this isn't just some Messageboard poster saying this. This has been reiterated throughout the Sports Media.

Whether or not to take seriously these Media rumors, well, I say that when there's smoke, there's certainly a fire. I think it is unquestionably true that T-Mac and Yao has some Chemistry problem that is not fully revealed to us Fans.

Let's put it this way: Whether or not the T-Mac / Yao combo remains a combination depends on the outcome of this season. If they once again fail to make significant progress in the playoffs, or if they miss the playoffs completely, then it is quite possible for T-Mac to be traded in the off-season.

Doubt me? Well, if Paul Gasol can be traded for Kwame and change, then anything is possible in this league. ANYTHING.

Let's wait until the season is done whether or not this combination of Yao / T-Mac will continue.

I do agree that T-Mac has been a Chemistry problem this season. And his heartless, gutless effort has disappointed nearly everyone but the TOFs.

Um the playoffs ended last season. Move on, and root for the team THIS season. Stop revisiting the past, unless you have a motive to do so.

I think it's a vicious cycle. Yes some YOFs are annoying. But they easily get defensive because of the haters who came over here just for the sole purpose of bashing Yao Ming. You should call out those r****ds too in order to be fair. There are sorry human beings like rofflesarusholz, ekim, StarScream (I can go on), etc, who only post after Yao had a bad game or didn't do something well enough. It would be the time these r****ds crawl out from their rat holes and start b****ing. When the Rockets are rolling and Yao is playing well, you would not even see these morons around here. What kind of 'Rockets fans' are these fools? Sorry, I don't think I should called these sorry human beings 'Rockets fans' because it was an insult to the true Rockets fans here to be associated with these scumbags. In my opinion, the YOFs are annoying but the haters scumbags are malicious.

I'm convinced that T-Mac is our best post entry passer to Yao. And I thought Adelman has been preaching that we need more side to side ball movement. If Yao doesn't have good post position close to the basket, the coaches want us to swing the ball to the other side. Hopefully that results in a better post up for Yao on the other block.

Sad thing is, moving Yao from side to side tends to stagnate the offense, and if T-Mac is on the court, he gets blamed for it. :D

I agree with what you said though.

but sometimes if yao moves quick enough, it can result in an easy basket.

i think another method of getting yao easy baskets is the screens by our guards in the paint to free him up and he'll rotate from strong to weak side and have a very easy shot. we should run that play more.

but i agree with you, people think it's ONLY tmac that stagnates this offense. when we isolate yao, that stagnates the offense EVEN MORE b/c you want yao to have his space to operate so as a result, everyone just stands around the 3pt line and watch.

but what people don't understand is that you CANNOT run the offense EVERY play EVERY quarter. when the 4th quarter rolls around, you have to go to your bread and butter -> tmac and yao. the purpose of this offense is to NOT do that in the first 3 quarters so our stars are fresh down the stretch and the defenses can't adjust now on the fly after having faced such a balance offense for the first 3 quarters.

i'm fine with the criticism on tmac, but when people start going overboard and they know who they are (calling him "her," McLady, she-mac), that's uncalled for.

i think badgerfan has a legit criticism, but he also needs to see tmac made a conscious effort not to disrupt the rhythm of the team last night. he simply missed his shots, which were great shots within the offense except for 2-3. but b/c he played within the offense, we had BALANCED offense, shot well, and scored 106 pts.

I agree with the pilot in Return of the Jedi who saw a big bunch of enemy fighters and said "There's too many of them!"

Memo, please don't create any more threads until you actually get a brain

"Me first" attitude? He wants to win whether or not everyone sees it that way. Why did he dish 9 dimes then, vs Indy if it's all about him? You make NO SENSE!

How about this why can't the TOF'ers and the YOF'ers just conclude we have 2 stars that are BOTH capable of finishing and winning games.

T-Mac can't do what Yao can do and Yao can't do what T-Mac STILL can do!

i realize my POV is simple and logical but, humor it a bit it just may work if y'all let it! :D

Are you serious? We have dozens of threads demonizing McGrady. It's pathetic. So, yes, you're not the only one who doesn't know crap about basketball. Congratulations.

Because of this thread, the collective basketball IQ of Rockets fans is lower than Chris Dudley's 3pt fg%.

If T-Mac is benched, the Rox lose to the Bucks! We also lose to the Sonics @ Seattle and forget any mention of remote playoff possibilities AT ALL! Timing is everything and apparently yours is a little off!

But, in all serious, you're a genius! Psyche!!! :D
