If we had either a better shooter or a better passer we could bench Green and slide KPJ either towards PG or SG as he is a more efficient player than Green. However, if Green's groin injury takes time the op might get their wish through injury...... DD
what a joke thread. this isn’t some good team that lucked into a high draft pick and is now starting that drafted player despite all the mistakes made on the court this isn’t some team with good players rotting on the bench not getting a chance because they weren’t drafted high like Jalen Bench him for who? Chips? JC? drop the meth
This is correct, however the team doesn't have the personnel to do that and seems like its too late. Bottom line, Silas has to go... half of the season was wasted and not much improvement if at all has been made. That's why its hard to really assess the future of some of these youngsters right now. The difference of Green becoming an efficient scorer could be as simple as having a coaching staff to run a system and free him up for some quality shots. Its literally just a handful of possessions a game for him that could turn everything around, that's why I'm still hopeful for JG and Jabari.
He just needs to average 10 assists with high scoring efficiency in his 2nd year according to some CF experts.. No need to overreact and bench him yet..
He'll never be Luka, but it would be nice if at some point during his rookie contract he was a net positive player. Hell I'll take a net zero player if he can pull that off.
We can bench Green for Sengun, make Sengun run the point(best passer, the most willing one, the best vision, natural PG) and start Bruno at center as a lob threat or Garuba for 5 out! @harold bingo @sirjesse @cml750 @ThatboyPhuong @Ankara1923 @LeDakota @aaquaa @DreamShook @PeterKingX @AroundTheWorld @J.R. @tinman @harold bingo @ExTxGS @conquistador#11 @CHAMPBOY @mirdirir @Joe Rocket @WestendMassive @Salvy @clutchdabear @berkowsk @j@amc @Killatron 2000 @Dovahkiin @ExTxGS @cmoak1982 @bmelo @juanm34 @Rockets4Life13
Nah Luka has a negative SHFL ( sliding his feet laterally ) rating.. Its even lower than Jalen's .. It says so on some random dude's ,made from scratch ,analytical chart I saw posted on twitter.. That's like a Bible verse on CFs.. I'm sure some goofball will post it on here soon as a reference..
People don't understand the importance of Green being the focal point of this offense right now. It's not to win games and it's not just to gain experience, but also to build any leadership quality he may have as well as possibly showcase him to other teams. There are plenty of teams that would trade a lottery pick for Green and throw in a really good player or two. Not saying the Rockets would do this trade but it's good to have possibilities on the table depending on who they draft this year. If the Rockets can draft Wemby or Scoot then they may hold pact on the team they have (perhaps explore KPJ to other teams after July 31st). If they can't land a top guy this draft then maybe they look at other options in Free Agency and trade some of their assets for proven talent. Either way, that option is not as lucrative if Green is on the bench. The Rockets are gunning for that top pick in hopes of it being that final piece to start turning this franchise around. Until then, Green will be the guy while on the court.
I really hope some saint and scholar out there is collecting receipts on all these fools. If Green turns out to be a bonafide superstar, and we become a force in the league with or without Wemby, i hope Clutch takes those receipts and delivers some bans for the good years because yall made the bad years so much worse that you don't deserve to be around when we start playing winning basketball. It seems no one is going to be happy unless Jalen fails, KPj is out of the league and playing in China and Alpi is just another DMO and Bari is given up on and traded for a 2nd. I can already see the doom and gloom posts in the GARM when we win the lottery and yall start hating on Wemby because he's just a walking injury waiting to happen. "We should draft*insert new contrarian favorite*"
