I thought he had a great game from a Bears fan prospective... Go Bears! ps: the entire Packers team should be benched...
He said COLD to HOT, not hot to cold. Brunell threw a total of 27 passes in cold weather. That's Graylon-esque. Hasselbeck threw a total of 29 passes in cold weather. Also Graylon-esque. McNair went from hot to sort of cold. Not cold to hot. Plummer went from hot to cold. Not cold to hot. Brad Johnson is really the only one to argue.
Yep, the Bears defense is nasty. I voted to wait and see if he can recover, he has done enough for the Packers to not get benched after deciding to comeback, but the Packers are in a tough position themselves. They really need to get Rogers some reps in a game, yet it would be kind of hard to bench Favre.
You can stick a fork in Favre because he's done. The tank is just about on "E" and he's barely running on fumes. I think he understands what a big mistake he made by coming back. It's really too bad he didn't retire after the 2004 season. I think he tarnished himself a bit last year, much less what could happen this season. Most of it will be forgotten anyway when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame. Question: Why would the Dolphins want a worn out, washed up Favre instead of Culpepper? At least you can hope Culpepper will improve but Favre has been erratic and in decline the last 3 seasons. He is exactly the type of QB Nick Saban wouldn't put up with. There is no better poster child for bad QB decision making than Brett Favre the last 3 years.
He's played like that his whole career...Thats why people love him so much..He just had players to make plays for him when he F'd up.
I'll give him a little more credit than that. In his prime Favre made every kind of throw there was to make. He wasn't finicky about who he threw to like Aikman was. If there was a crease, Favre got it to you. The last few years, either he's lost some zip on the ball, a lot of his accuracy or he's lost his mind. His great play vs. stupid throw ratio has inverted. But you are right; throughout his career Favre's receivers have covered up a lot of his mistakes.
