I want to say sometime in April there was a blurb about him having it flare up again. He took a cortisone shot last year, hasn't done that yet to my knowledge.

Loretta, from what I've seen, is not a great improvement over Lamb defensively. I like the looks of a quasi-platoon.

    career splits:
    loretta: .305/.751 v. RH; .297/.798 v. LH
    lamb: .286/.773 v. RH; .260/.713 v. LH

interestingly, lamb's hit 52 HR v. RH in 674 ABs to loretta's 49 in 1,209 ABs. still.... i think i'd prefer lamb on the bench. no real rationalization other than my own (likely stubborn) preference. in a way, it's a compliment - i trust him more.

As I already noted, his average has dipped over 70 points the last 4 years. He is currently hovering around the .200 mark, and isnt showing signs that he is going to get any better in the hitting department. Solid argument so far.

Like I was trying to point out already; Ozzie at least had peaks and valleys in his batting average. Yes his average was lower then Adam's career average (TO DATE), but it wasnt a 70 point snide in 4 out of his first 5 years. In which, each season he dropped significantly. Id say thats more indicative to what is going to happen to Adam, then how he could possibly do what Ozzie did later on in his career.

No, its called using an exaggeration to highten the point. Maybe, your comprehension of this is very low. No, let me correct myself. I already stated that I believed that fpct, was not the end all to be all, to which you responded: "If that's all you use". So OBVIOUSLY, your comprehension is extremely low.

I could picked a better analolgy for you. Here, try this one on for size. "You're charging into a sword fight with a wet noodle...a pencil...ect ect." Sounds kinda lame though to use a peacocks's plume.

What is my opinion on the matter? I dont believe for one second, that you know what my opinion on the matter actually is. Which is rule number 1 to actually trying to debunk someone your debating. Otherwise, you come across foolish looking. Also, you did make mention of me correcting your sentence structure later on, so I can rest assured, you took some slight towards what was said by myself. Don't go calling the kettle something that you already are Mr. Pot. Good try though.
