That 3 way trade for Detroit wouldn't work either. They have no room for Garrity (Rodney White, Corliss Williamson and Cliff Robinson are already on board at the 3). Hudson is just crap. Bo Outlaw is a decent player, but his best position is SF and he's definitely not a C and he's significantly older. Detroit, believe it or not, has actually acquired a center this offseason and will play Ben Wallace at PF. They plan on starting Zeljko Rebraca at center. They certainly aren't going to trade Wallace for a package that's entirely redundant and whose only useful part would make them older and worse. To be honest, I don't think Houston is a very good fit trade wise with Detroit. Detroit has one real need (starting PG) and one minor need (backup SG) with one position still being a bit of a question (C, but they're actually fairly confident in Rebraca). Houston obviously won't give them a PG, it isn't worth it for a backup SG and Houston doesn't have a C.
