Ben Wallace just bolted to the Bulls, can we trde for Tyson Chandler?

    Wait and see ... I really believe the Rockets are going to sign a huge FA and maby trade some players to get a better (starting) SG. I don 't doubt if Houston can make the playoffs next season ... I just know they will!

    ESPN news just reported a deal is close to done that would send Chandler to NO for PJ Brown and JR Smith.

    big question is who will replace JR Smith as player most rumored to be a rocket on the BBS????

    Looks official. Don't the Bulls have an over abundance of SF and SG's now? And with loss of Malik Allen in trade and Tyrus Thomas being a rookie, they look a little thin at PF. Does anyone else see a trade of Juwan Howard for JR Smith and some other player to make salaries close?

    Daily Herald (registration required): "Tyson Chandler officially remained a member of the Bulls through Independence Day. But a deal sending the sixth-year center to the New Orleans Hornets could be announced today."

    New Orleans Times-Picayune (registration required): "The Hornets are in serious trade discussions that would involve sending veteran forward P.J. Brown and shooting guard J.R. Smith to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for center Tyson Chandler, two league sources confirmed Tuesday afternoon."

    Forget about JR now...

    why should i care how much chandler is making? management said we're in win now mode, so kill that whining about his salary. when you're in that mode 10 mil for a guy to log 30 minutes between the 4 and 5 is ok in my book. he's an excellent defender (man and weakside shotblocking) and rebounder. sign me up.
