God no. The 76ers can keep Tobias Harris and his max contract. Simmons, Thybulle and a few first round picks for Harden and Tucker would be the preferred structure.
Simmons isn't a perfect asset. He just isn't. That doesn't mean he's not a 5 star prospect that sets the team up for the future whether that's with him or using him down the line for other assets. I promise the Rockets could get Herro, Duncan Robinson, Iguodala, and 2 FRP for Simmons.
The only similarity he has to Westbrook is neither can effectively shoot jump shots. Simmons is a much smarter player, plays more under control, and he understands his offensive limitations and plays within them (only 11 shots per game and makes 7).
My first post here (yay!) and I have to say: I don't like it. Although it shows Morey loosening up publicly a little earlier than I thought he would. So that's a good sign. I still think Simmons is not the right fit though unless there are more machinations ahead.
