I'm human and I love a classic example of schadenfreude. This...this is it. It must be a HUGE blow to Rich Paul's ego that this is happening. LeBron James can't bail his ass out of this one.
The more I think about it the more I feel like my tinfoil hat needs to be bigger. What if...it was LeBron's plan all along to put Simmons in this perpetual state of never developing? What if LeBron saw Simmons as a threat when he came into the league and knew that all this kid really needed was an improved jump shot? That's all it would take for Simmons to be a top 5 player. What if LeBron talked Simmons into signing with Klutch and had Rich Paul make subtle moves behind the scenes (e.g. removing Ben's shooting coach that Brett Brown hired and inserted Simmons' own brother into the role) to basically keep Simmons from ever improving?
