[Lewis] Nets' Ben Simmons unlikely to have second back surgery. The group around Ben has noticed a complete change in Ben’s focus and mentality this rehab, and there is a lot of belief in him being able to return to his All-Star form.
I'll believe Ben is going to get on the floor and stay on the floor when I see it. Incredible waste of a tremendous amount of talent, at this point.
Harden got traded for Ben Simmons, and is probably the greatest insult to Hardens career that people even talked about it much less actually go through with it. I remember Kevin Martin getting traded for Harden, and I thought that trade was already ridiculously lopsided. Little did I know I’ll come across an even more lopsided situation not much later.
And some posters around here still want this guy on the Rockets? His contract makes Dillon Brooks' look amazing.
No one wanted him for any reason other than to get other assets out of Brooklyn and absorb Simmons contract - just basically kicking the cap room 2 years down the road when our team's core will have better definition. DD
But I thought he was on a mission? Ole Simmo didn't even take his Crocs off to stage the photo properly
I gotta disagree, I was hate-lurking during that stretch when Harden was about to get traded. Half the board wanted Ben Simmons over Tyler Herro, and I think I still take Herro over Simmons today.
Wow. The Kings would have been royally screwed if they took the Philly deal. They should thank Harden for saving them.
