I can understand Durant's frustration with Simmons. He signed up to play with completely different unreliable stars.
At the end of the day, the SIxers were able to use all of Ben Simmon's Salary to facilitate the James Harden deal. I bet they had to give more money back to Ben than they wanted to. If Simmons lost a huge amount of money, the amount would leak in an effort to show players that there are heavy consequences for not fulfilling contracts.
I also think the 76ers needs to consider their reputation with free agents in the future. they probably don't want to prolong the ugliness, it could become toxic and a distraction.
I I would actually feel sorry for Simmons if he was not such an attention w****. His daily fashion show act while sitting on the bench last year was mind boggling.
He'll need to take a 2 month hiatus the first time he plays a Centre who uses some physicality on him.
Normally I would go full grammar nazi, but a professional publication like The Athletic should know the proper hominym there should be "roll" not "role".
All these "will Ben Simmons play c" questions need to be truncated to "will Ben Simmons play?" - the guy hasn't been in a competitive NBA game in what, 18 months despite no obvious injury until his back surgery in May. And we all know from Tmac that backs often come back (also, my back hurts a lot cause old)
