Phantoms like a motherfu**er! What? I'm pretty drunk and this news confuses me. He is ****ty daredevil. He can't be Batman too. Uhhhh. Meh. I don't like the choice but I will see it regardless. Anybody saying different that loves batman is lying. Is cant be worst then batman and robin. And everybody saw that movie.
Just like Pearl Harbor and all the Schumachers, it will still make money. It ain't qualityfriends, it's showbusiness.
I didn't like "The Dark Knight Rises" so I didn't have high hopes for where they took Batman the next time around. They should have just paid what ever Bale wanted and made it seamless. At least give this crossover something decent to cling onto. I guess now people have zero expectation that this movie will be any good at all helps them. Makes you with Marvel would buy DC and sort all of this out. Marvel have done so much right, you get the feeling they'd lock in a decent actor to play Batman and take the story somewhere decent.
I'll wait to past judgment. But I do put Affleck in the same acting category as Costner: fine work with some really crappy misses. (what can I say, still a fan of Waterworld and Dogma)
He's a good actor, but he's not Batman. I'm surprised he would take another superhero role after Daredevil was so bad. I also hate casting somebody as two different superheroes (like Chris Evans who was great as Johnny Storm, even though the first move was marginal and the 2nd was terrible).
Man of Steel was weak. If Snyder couldn't get one super hero right, he's gonna utterly fail with two.
I'm a huge fan of Nolan's Batman, but other than that I've never been a superhero/comic book type of guy. When I clicked on this thread my first reaction was WTF, thinking that The Dark Knight Rises was a sequel and also "what the hell does Superman have to do with Batman." This is precisely why I could never get into this stuff, even as a kid. Batman AND Superman in the same movie? That's just stupid. IMO
