    I'll say it.

I'm DAMN glad they took away a lane from non EZ tag and gave it to EZ tag. I have an EZ tag so I don't have to wait at the booth and the HCTRA should do everything possible for me to get down the beltway/tollway as fast as I can.
I don't feel sorry for people for having to wait if they don't have an EZ tag. I've had billing issues too but I dealt with them and continue to pay for it so my commute is quicker, i.e EZ-er. :D

Sorry if that pisses you off.

The ez-tag billing system is fine, they charge your card for like $40 and then it decrements down each time you use the tag and when it gets down to $10 they charge it again. You are basically paying for what you use, there is nothing wrong with that system.

The ez tag is great, its better for us because:
    1. we don't have to wait in line
    2. its cheaper

    Its better for them because:
    1. they can save money and employ less toll booth attendants
    2. keeps traffic flowing so they can make more money
    3. easier to keep up with vs. change and dollars and cash and tokens

its better for the city of houston because:
    1. It keeps traffic flowing

put it on a credit card man, if there are any issues, just call your credit card company and dispute the charges. No need to monitor it every day.

I don't like the refreshing at $10 crap. Why not refresh when, I don't know, you run out of pre-paid money?

Because you can easily incur over $10.00 worth of tolls in a day... it is basically a fail safe so people aren't getting free tolls.
