For some reason it looked like Beltran got the worst of it too. Cameron is definetly more injured then I thought he would be.... broken nose and multiple fractures of both checkbones? Thats gotta hurt.

Nick - I like you and feel that you are a very level-headed poster here but this is the 2nd day in a row, you slam something to do with the Red Sox for no apparent reason other than possible jealousy on your part. Don't hate on the Red Sox for the media overhyping them - they can't help it. ;)

It's obvious that Beltran is the son of the devil, and he's destroying any team or player he's coming in contact with.

I really feel for Cameron and pray he's okay. That other guy should rot on the bench with his hurt shoulder for the rest of the year. Okay, maybe the next 6 years.

Mike Cameron almost snapped his neck and you guys are taking potshots at the guy who accepted a better business proposition.

    Get over it already.

Believe me, I feel bad for both guys...especially Cameron since he caught the worst of it. However, Beltran did much more than "accept a better business proposition". He and his agent kept Houston in the dark in negotiations while saying through the media how much he loved the city, and gave the Mets advantages including having them at his home overseas...then at the last minute threw a no-trade clause at the Astros giving them very little time to react. Just wanted to clarify that...this thread is not the place to take cheapshots at him though.

This accident has NOTHING to do with Beltran dissing the Astros... this is two HUMANS who could have EASILY been killed playing a freaking game. I am a huge Beltraitor hater, but I sure as crap don't wish the guy physical harm... if you do, you need Jesus.
