Report: Wall charged with breaking and entering

John Wall, the nation's top-rated point guard who remains uncommitted, was been cited for breaking an entering by the Raleigh Police Department, WRAL out of Raleigh reported Monday morning.

The station reported that Wall was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering in connection with an April 27 break-in at a home at 3924 Laurel Glen Drive in Raleigh. According to WRAL, an officer saw Wall leaving rom the rear of the residence and was able to detain him. Two others were also charged -- one while walking along a nearby street, another when he returned to the residence.

How or if this well affect Wall's recruitment is unclear.

He is still publicly considering a number of schools -- among them Kentucky, Duke and Florida.

He'll end up at Baylor now for sure...

None of the other schools would touch him at this point, and he is NOT good enough for the NBA. Yet.

He'll fit right in with the Bears though.

and you'll be jealous, though i'm certain you'll pretend as if you aren't...and as if A&M would NEVER stoop so low. but we'll all know you're full of it. :D

We're not looking at him, he's not looking at us. You are looking at him, he is looking at you. Do you REALLY not see the connection here?

I stand by what I said before. He would fit in PERFECTLY in Waco. This is your dream scenario! He blew you off before, but now none of the schools he wanted to attend are going to want to have anything to do with him.

    Ask yourself this...

Do you REALLY think Duke is going to take a skumbag like that?

I'll bet you a Dr. Pepper he ends up in Waco. Perfect fit and might just be the missing piece to get you that elusive NIT championship next year!

I just put Hank on ignore which turns out to be so awesome. Never used this feature before, not even on Basso.

I think you'd be slobbering to have him consider A&M, is what I think. I think your righteousness on this is probably extremely fact-specific.

I stand by my statement. It's you wet dream to have a player of Wall's caliber to even consider playing in hooterville.

The rednecks have plenty of scum bag athletes on campus just like everyone else.

Some of you just aren't very good at this...

Yes, I would LOVE to have somewhere of that caliber at Texas A&M, just not that PARTICULAR someone. I wouldn't expect you to understand.

Drew and Wall are perfect for one another. All I'm saying!

Skumbag athletes have a history of helping lesser programs leap to great heights. Remember UNLV? I'm not saying Baylor could ever be as good as UNLV was, but they could sure as heck make more noise in the NIT.

Baylor is a lesser program. John Wall is a stud. How else would you expect to get a player like that in Waco? Hire his friend as a coach?

    Oops...

It sounds like an insult, but it's really not. 5 star recruits who are good people don't historically play basketball at Baylor. 5 star skumbags who are running out of quality options might! You weren't going to get him when people thought he might be a quality citizen, but the door is now wide open, and I bet Coach Drew is going to be on that like a shark on a bloody corndog.

    We'll see who's right!

That everything Baylor does has always been wrong and will be for the remainder of time. Geez, get with the program. :D

There's NO WAY Wall goes to Waco. I'll donate $500 to the tip jar if he chooses Baylor.

Hell, I'd even donate a consolation $10 if Baylor makes his "final cut" of two schools.

Everything points to Kentucky with the signing of Bledsoe, the return of Patterson, and the potential return of Meeks. The question isn't if he would choose the school or not; it's if there's going to be an available spot for him with as many as 17 players on next years Wildcats squad.

If that's the case, watch out for Miami to get his services.

He's going to go to Kentucky. He saw what the coach did to develop Rose. He wants the same treatement. Once he played a season there, Rockets will be waiting for him with the 1st pick :D

Don't fiddle with my emotions... I am trying to keep them in check.

Should Wall actually come to UK we will have quite possibly the best recruiting class in the history of the NCAA. Yes maybe better than the fab five.

    PG John Wall (1) *****
    PF DeMarcus Cousins (2) *****
    C Daniel Orton (22) *****
    PG Eric Bledsoe (23) *****
    SG Jon Hood (40) ****
    SF Darnell Dodson ****

Four 5 star and two 4 star players.

On top of that Patrick is back and very likely Jodie as well.

As depressing as last UK season ended is as enthusiastic this one will begin (with or without John Wall)

and the kid was in an abandoned house hanging out with a couple friends... if that's being a thug, sign my name on the thug list.

Can someone just arrest Calipari already? He's making a total mockery out of the sport by blatantly paying his players (remember that Dorsey quote that he was making more at Memphis than he is now?) and daring the NCAA to snub one of its highest profile coaches/schools.

Unless you are a fan of Kentucky you cannot be happy with the way he has stuck his tongue out at the entire process of recruiting. Kicking out old players, throwing Worldwide Wes at the top recruits every year while knowing his last crop are one-and-done destroys the facade that we college basketball fans like to have that these are student-athletes in consideration.

Oh well. At least my school still does it the right way and plays hard no matter what.

Looks like it's Kentucky. All you Baylor/A&M guys can un-wad your pantaloons now.
