    Speaking of learning about other religions. I found it interesting that everyone scored very close in percentile to a wide range of religions.

    Lets take it a step further. If we are so close with differing religions, why is it so hard for people to see all that we do have in common in other aspects of our lives?

    Wouldn't it stand to reason that if our religious beliefs are so similar, wouldn't other aspects of our beliefs be just as similar?

    I guess what I'm trying to say is that we're not as different as we think.

    I'm not very good at making my point clear. Anyone else care to elaborate?

    The Unitarian church is a funny place. The one in Charleston has a bit of a Christian tinge, whereas the one here in Salt Lake is run by two more open people, both of which tend to finish their sermons w/ addages directed towards everyone, believers and non believers. It's a cool place (though one of the guests a few weeks ago seemed to want to just engage in Mormon bashing).

    Sometimes, I have to admit my wife and I ask ourselves "what the hell is the point?"... we don't believe and this takes a whole morning (on clear, rock hard icy mornings at the resort, it doesn't matter but I digress, on power days the complaint wins [IMG]).

    It is a nice place to meet people that are actually like us. In Salt Lake it seems that if you do not belong to a ward then your social circle can be pretty limited.

    I was suprised by that too Jeff. How can you forsake Theravada with Mayabanana? I think I was less shocked when my grandpa wrote a letter to the Pope informing him that he was joining the Eastern/Greek Orthodox church.

    My eyes started to glaze over whenever I read anything about theism so I'm sure that's exactly what I clicked on. [IMG]

    My top 5:

    * Neo-Pagan (score=100)
    * Mahayana Buddhist (score=93)
    * New Age (score=93)
    * Unitarian Universalist (score=87)
    * Liberal Quaker (score=84)

    I always said I was agnostic leaning towards Buddhism.

    I read up on wicca recently b/c a close friend of mine was one and thought she'd enlighten me on "witchcraft". [IMG]

    I guess that explains my top 2 scores.

    Thanks Darkhorse! [IMG]

    We need to get a Salt Lake excursion to the game in April.

    Are you over 21, btw? Fiddler's Elbow has league pass (or a dozen satelittes). It'll be the usual: One Hefe, 3 Lemonades please. LOL.
