This is true. He was talking mad ish to Barwin after the play so I was wondering what had happened. Then I saw the replay and laughed out loud bc it was a barely a push.

Shaub has aj walter od jones. You can't compare that with the viking's receivers.

I think you can. Sidney Rice emerged this season with over 1300 receiving yards. I will admit that Berrian had a terrible season (like 600 yards) but Schiancoe provided a great target in the redzone with 11 touchdowns. Percy Harvin isn't exactly a slouch either with almost 800 yards and 6 receiving touchdowns.

Btw, you listed OD but Schaub lost his favorite redzone target early in week 8.

I think farve made rice not the other way around. Farve was pretty good last year until his arm fell off. I think shaub is a very good QB, but even at this age he can't make the throws that farve does. He is very accurate, but I think farve would have more success here than shaub in Min.

A stupid bet? On who's part? Do you not remember the entire bbs was against me and on The Cat's side when we had this argument? I was pretty much on an island, and people were laughing at me for making that claim about Favre (because people are bias when their home team is involved). And now you are saying it was a stupid bet on The Cat's part now that I won? That is ridiculous.

I've learned that the only way to argue on this bbs is to have people put their money where their mouth is. If DaDa were to do this every time he made a prediction, he'd be broke.

And sammy, what will you say when the Vikings win the superbowl this year? That Peterson and their defense and Sidney Rice won it for Favre? Well, they had these same players last year with Tavaris Jackson and didn't do much at all. All these players you claimed were responsible for Favre's success didn't do much for the QBs who came before him in Minnesota.

I agree with this. Favre made Rice into a top tier #1 receiver.

I won't have to say anything bc they're not going to win the super bowl. They are limping into the playoffs.

And I was merely bringing up that Favre has weapons all around him. Not sure where the Vikings would have ended up if they lost Visanthe for 9 games and AD for 5 games. It's safe to assume that losing OD had an effect on yalls bet.

You also predicted Favre was old and washed up and would have a poor season, so let's not go on anything based on your track record.

All QBs who have successful seasons have weapons around them. OD may have had an effect, but Favre was leading in just about every single category during the games OD was still with the Texans and healthy. Schaub took over YPA and YPC towards the end of the season when Favre stumbled a bit, but before that, Favre had a comfortable lead in just about every category, especially QB rating.

I was told that Schaub would win this bet, and "that it wouldn't even be close". So the fact that we are now talking about weapons, and how the Giants quit in Week 17 is laughable because the bet wasn't even supposed to be close, remember?

I don't recall making any of these statements ? Maybe I did but since you can look up posts, please show me where I said this.

Btw, you need to simmer down..you're hella annoying.

And I will guarantee that the Vikings will not win the super bowl. Are you saying that they will ?

I think they have as good a chance as any. And if I had to pick and team and put money on it right now I'd pick the Vikings. Interesting to see that you'd go as far as guaranteeing that they won't win the superbowl. Who is your pick? Colts, Saints?

I feel like the Chargers are the favorites to win it all. If LT/Sproles can run the ball effectively, their offense is as potent as any.

As mentioned in other threads, the NFC is wide open. Picking a favorite is a tough call imo.

I was doubting the Cowboys a couple of weeks back but they look like they have a decent shot at reaching the SB. I liked the Eagles most coming into week 17 but their last game was a bit surprising. Boldin's injury severely hurts the Cardinals' chances this time around..

Not only that, it is not like the Patriots stepped onto the field for the first time at game time. It would have been pretty apparent in pregame how bad the field supposedly was and Bill could have acted appropriately.

Guy is a joke and has always been. One of the least classiest people in sports.

If you're gonna play your starters in a meaningless game, own up dude. Grow some balls.
