More like apples and apple juice. "Perfection" is not a necessity. They didn't need to go undefeated to make the playoffs or clinch their division. You definitely don't have to go undefeated (regular season) to win the Super Bowl. Sure, it'd be nice to do. But the Colts would look like idiots too if they had everything locked up and Peyton ended up getting injured all because they wanted to be undefeated. As for the Bengals, it was still a meaningless game regardless if they said they would play full force.
YES! Charlie P. played it on his show during the drive home, very un-Belicheat like. Complete pwnage!
This has been talked about a lot. Colts fans were just as angry. They had a chance for history and they didn't go for it. One of their biggest rivals, New England, went for it a few years back and they wanted the same opportunity.
Sunday's game, Connor Barwin gives him a shove not long after he released the ball, sending Brady to the ground. Brady gets up and throws a fit to the referee that a late hit was not called, even though the hit was probably all of one second after he released the ball. And this is not the first time I have seen him complain about relatively minor contact.
we were wondering about that one. It was such a weak shove that we were wondering if he was b****ing about trash talk or something else. Seemed like nothing an NFL player would possibly complain about
wtf?? dude. i think tom is aces, but even i know he is a total whiner when it comes to the refs. i don't think i've ever seen him get through a game where has hasn't complained for a late hit flag.
The context of this thread is about Bill Bellichick crying at the end of a loss over field conditions. Please provide examples of where Tom Brady has shown to be a crybaby after a loss. I still haven't seen any examples. Nobody is talking about looking for penalty calls on the field. If thats the case then every receiver in the league is a crybaby when there is contact and they are looking for a PI call.
LMAO. OK, so now we're relegated to only complaints *after* a game? The statement was being a crybaby. Sorry, but that doesn't limit itself to only *post* game actions or comments, no matter how much you'd like it to. Dude, if you want me to throw together a youtube video of Brady whining about calls, I'm sorry, but that's an unreasonable request. And no, every receiver is *not* a crybaby and looks for a flag every time he doesn't catch a ball. (although some do) And no, whining about one call doesn't instantly turn you into a crybaby forever. It is a pattern of behavior. You're totally dodging the spirit of the debate, which is how much someone complains. Period.
If you want to see crybabies, go read the thread about how the colts/bengals didn't play their starters in their final game. I don't consider Brady a crybaby but I do consider the fact that most people hate him because of his successes, so they take cheap shots at him every chance they get. Similar to the Kobe haters.
You're either a Patriots fan or you don't watch football. Everybody knows Brady is a crybaby, even Pats fans.
Brady barely got pushed and didn't get the usual flag... and cried to the ref and then almost got into a scuffle with... I think it was Suggs... wasn't that one of the times he whined? Most SUPERSTARS get the "special" treatment, and because they're so used to it, will whine if an official doesn't give it to them on the slightest judgmental call. Brady did something illegal in Colorado?
Well, according to my signature and according to the $200 I won off one of our more knowledgable posters, I wouldn't question whether or not I watch football.
You don't need to reference yourself three times over in one post to prove you watch football. You do need to take yourself outside of a patriot fan's perspective because Brady complains for flags at least once a game. He did it on the push from Barwin, and tried to talk or stare him down after not getting the penalty he wanted. You don't need to have a sig quoting yourself to prove your a knowledgable poster. If you keep away from Yao and bash Tmac every once in a while you'll gain just as much credibility.
To be honest, it was a stupid bet. Circumstances were different. You can't discount the difference in the running game and defense, although the Texans D came up in rank eventually. I still think Matt had the better season due to the Texans' circumstances. The fact that we also lost OD/SS and the numbers were still so close makes me come to this conclusion.
