So she's got money and she's smart and you're on Clutchfans at 10:30pm? Why aren't you putting a baby in that right now?
"Oh yeah, I started out mopping the floor just like you guys. Then I moved up to washing lettuce. Now, I'm working the fat fryer. Pretty soon I'll make assistant manager and that's when the big bucks start rolling in."
His real fear is probably that she'll leave him eventually? Money ain't everything.... buuuut it matters, unfortunately.
Well at first I thought it was a bit embarrassing, but I'm starting to not let it bother me as much. We're both still young and she had a good head start. I guess it's motivation for me to do better. If she leaves me, it'll suck. But not the end of the world, there are so many others out there. She's not the first, or last if it comes to that. Less that 0.0013% since technically you can find anything in the internet. But I doubt she cares enough. I guess my point was I'm not risking any pictures on the net. Those might be easier to find. Been on that road and it did not go well.
lets put this in perspective... if you're a woman, you make FIVE TIMES more than your man, would you stay? there has to be a penis/wealth chart somewhere for convenience
generally, it's not the money that drives women away in a relationship where they make more money. it's their boyfriend's/husband's insecurities and his propensity to turn into doormat.
Said insecurities are driven by the large differential in their relative ladder ranks. (and I bet the majority of the time the insecurities are fed by subtle comments by the female) It's almost impossible to fight the psychological physics at play here. (See www.laddertheory.com) According to ladder theory, unless Jontro is a lot more physically attractive than his woman to balance out the financial aspect, it's not going to last. Men are psychologically equipped to be the one making a lot more money in a relationship (the provider) - but reverse the roles and both the man and the woman feel uncomfortable. Sorry Jontro - but enjoy that gravy train while you can. Your only hope is working super hard so at least she doesn't think you're a slacker (failing that, you'd better be a good boy-toy for her).
Sounds like she is too good for you. Not because she makes more money, but because you lack confidence or self worth. You need to get with the program or she will end up with someone that can handle her accomplishments.
I realized I subconsciously pulled She's Out of My League out of my external hd and watched it again. to the OP, watch it and decide how you want to act.
The problem isn't that you're emasculated. The problem is you're poor. (Unfortunately, most of society looks down at you. Not just women.)
that's wife material, son swallow your pride and give her a little pickle tickle tonight to make her happy
