:p:p:p It's just one game. Just one game. the Same as every other game we will play, the same as the last game we will play. Relax. This team will have its moments
when T-mac trains his jumper of course

Yes, i think Rick Adelman's extensive resume of playoff success is exactly what this team needs.

im not basing it on just this season.. just look at the track record... jvg had a few good years in NY he hasnt really done anything in houston.... we took dallas to game 7 but if u watch our offence its soo damn predictable..... there is no flow at all
phil has a laker team with out kobe playing amazing ball.. awesome passing .. cutting .. fast breaks.. and shoooting...
while our team while beetter in every position cant manage to beat hte jazz.. im also looking at last year.. jvg has no creativity.. i dont hate jvg.. i want him to succeed im acutally a big fan of him.. but he just has to go i think .. . i hope he proves me wrong this season but i just dont think he can coach a creative offense

43% shooting is not embarrassingly bad. The defense allowing 52% shooting for the Jazz, on the other hand is pretty embarassing. Lets focus on the bigger problem first. The defense is what stunk up the joint.

I like JVG, but if we are not atleast playing deep into the second round
of playoffs this year, I want him gone.

Dude. Just look at JVG's and Phil Jackson's career.

Phil Jackson took a team without Jordan, and with Quitten as the main guy all the way to Eastern Conference SemiFinals. A 6 game series against the thug Knicks, which we beat in 7 games.

Not to mention the 7 game series against the Suns last year.

Oh I might as well add 9 rings.

Phil jackson gets the most out of his scruby players. JVG gets the least out of his talented players, while he plays the scrubs for extended minutes.

Wake up and smell the stinking Rocets offense. 43% stinks!!! I dont know what games you have been watching.

lets DO focus on the bigger problem. The coach!!! JVG's biggest contribution is supposed to be his defense, right? Well it stunk, along with his historical garbage offense on display.

Oh you must be completely in awe of JVG's playoff success resume.

Adelman has had more success in playoffs than JVG.

JVG was lucky to get to finals in an extermely weak and garbage Eastern conference after the Jordan dismantle. What has he done besides that??

    Ok lets look at Adelman.

2 finals appearance wtih Portland. One lost to bad boys and another to Jordan's bulls.

Mutiple playoff apperances with Kings. Had Dick Bavetta not decided to be a laker in game 7, and given the game to Lakers, Kings would have gone on to win the championship.

And yes, Adelman's offense and his teams are 10000 times better to watch than JVG's teams

Fisher Hardly played all preseason, yet he plays for the Jazz, and has a great game...

    FREE BONZI!

there are no points to prove at the Pro level Jeff.

This isnt HS basketball. It isnt College Basketball.

Would team morale be low because you let a guy who hasnt been around play?
    MAYBE

but i guarantee its not worse than team morale after a loss.

Adelman has 2 finals appearances and if it wasn't for one of the most perhaps THE most (along with the Rox-Mavs) lopsided one way officiated series ever Lakers-Kings WCF he would have had 3 finals appearances, and the Kings WOULD have beaten then Nets in the finals.

Actually has Adelman ever missed the playoffs? I don't think he has.

I do believe JVG is around a top 7 or 8 coach in the NBA, but Adelman is too.

With two superstars and many good players, I could not forgive JVG for being defeated by Jazz in the first him of this season. Why did not give Vspan some time? Wish that Alexander will fire him soon.

Because Chuck didn't do as JVG asked. Heck we know. JVG is stubborn and a control freak. If we had Phil Jackson, we would have won Championship 2 years ago.

Changing JVG is like trying to get an Old Hag to change. JVG likes to live in his little Gremlin box. He's not a fit for this team.
One problem last yr and last game, they not passing the ball quick enough to yao when he's open down or just make a high pass down low. If he can't figure that one, the rockets are in trouble.

Maybe if the thread starter would do a better job explaining exactly WHY JVG sucks....instead of just posting this brilliant reasoning:

For what it's worth, I agree that we run the pick and roll too often. We don't do it well enough to justify running it that often. Also agree with the strange substitution patterns of JVG. Just put your best players on the floor and stop with all the mind games.
