What are you trying to say here? It's not a problem because only "SOME Chinese" were offended? Or it is the problem of those Chinese who felt offended because they do not take the rascism post the way the poster wanted them to take?

You are not the one did that post , and you are not Chinese who
were offended. It should not be your place. But I see you have made it your place defending the poster with some strange logic.

I know there racists in this country and in this world although I am not as sure as you are that he is not one of them based on his posts. But do I have to go after other racism post before I voice my anger with his post?

And you really get me confused with your saying I have every right to be offended yet I should not be offended. You are not me. And I do not take that kind of excuse for racism post. I judge a post with its content, not what you or the poster claim to be or meant to be.

I think how to deal with this kind of posts just shows what the posters as well as all related parts are made of. It's not necessary all about the rules and laws being enforced. But how to deal with it will have some effects on the board one way or the other, sooner or later.

i am saying i can understand how you would be offended and surely with the language gap it could come across badly. but i am also saying he was being sarcastic, and it was pretty clear.

sometimes sarcasm doesn't get communicated that well. and this is one of those cases. that's all i am saying. i mean, it's pretty clear to me that he was. and i am sure a lot of other native english speakers would see that. so perhaps it's best to have them chime in.

but even if you disagree, i'm just saying look at the intent - it wasn't there. he clearly doesn't believe any of those stereotypes. that's all. i can say no more.

btw, If you would have made the same post as me, but with white people stereotypes(mayo sandwiches, bad dancing, can't jump, Rednecks) to combat someone who was posting serious racist comments, I would have found it downright hilarious(as a white person).......... but I guess that is where comedic taste comes into play..........
