He's just slow on the sticks. It doesnt take long to evaluate the game to me. Maybe some say its baby playstation or something, but i can see things about a team and people on this board will disagree, then agree. I thought they shouldve gotten ron last year and shouldve dumped rafer this summer.

The clock of Yao and to a lessor extent tracy was ticking down fast despite their ages. I've said all along that they are high mileage cars. Even if they're age suggest otherwise, they , well yao now, only have 3 yrs of good ball left before he becomes big z like. The quicker management turns this roster ovr and get guys with upside, the better. When alston went down at the end of last year, i thought Brooks should have started and played most of the minutes to speed up the curve. We know what rafer is and thats ok if you like avg. The spurs couldve kept daniels and they probably couldve won another ring, but the rapid improvement and upside of parker is what keeps duncan's slow decline, even slower. I wish we would have sacrificed it last playoffs and then we would be closer to what we're trying to do.

I still hope he isn't a starter, he doesn't really deserve it for one. He isn't a pass-first PG and we need somebody who can set up this offense.

Morey needs to be fired now, I was praising him when he got Artest but ever since that move he has been god awful at making choices.

He also was key in getting that win vs. the Celtics in Boston. A speedy PG is a must now in this league.

Maybe Brooks could, you know, learn how to make an entry pass and feed our best player once in a while instead of taking it 1 on 5. Brooks is never going to be an all star and rather than mastering the art of deception (is he a ninja?) he could learn how to facilitate Yao's game since that's more important.

This trade is not about Rafer or Lowry... this trade is about Aaron.

If Brooks becomes a legit PG, this trade is a success.

If he doesn't, this trade was a huge mistake.

I'm ready for Brooks to start. He shoots well and he can score. His passing isn't as good as Alston's but it's not average by any means. During the playoffs we needed so many times for the PG to score when they were smothering our franchise players and I think Brooks can do that. Whether he can do that in the playoffs with his lack of experience is something we'll hopefully find out. We already knew alston wasn't capable. I hate losing Rafer but I did want Brooks to get more minutes. This is a gamble but one that I'm willing to take.

well atleast he knows his strength and uses them INSTEAD of shooting all the time regardless (rafer)
