I wouldn't freak out about them running out of this. I was able to find some well into the fall in 2010.
You are one of the only ones then. It's hit or miss though whether a store will have them after the initial stock. Some will have some that didn't sell while other locations will be sold out. A guy at HEB today told me not to expect it in Houston until March. Is this accurate?
Where at? I don't think you can even find them in the fall in Louisiana where they're brewed. Its seasonal, and fall isn't their season.
Yeah it's pretty amazing to think he found it in the fall when HEB runs out of it like a month after they put it on the shelf and there are no more to order from Abita after the initial stock is sent out.
That has always been my problem with lambics or other flavored beverages. I'm guessing this isn't a true lambic, but flavored? Edit: nevermind, clicked the link
I might have to pick up a 6 pack the only fruity beer I have ever like is New Belgium's Frambozen, but they stop selling those in December
Got it off Old Farm. HEB has em too. Some places have already sold out. Tried my first one, but it was hot, still not sure if I like it yet. I think I do though. Just not sure if I could drink very many - a little too sweet and filling, but not really that sweet. If that makes sense.
Grabbed a couple of 6ers at Specs on Rayford Rd, they had a few cases it looked at least and the guy said there was no limit to amount I could buy... yet. Normally I hate fruity beer but I bought this based on the board's recommendation that St Arnolds Xmas Ale was the ****... I love that stuff.
I called it at 530 and they said they didn't have any and possibly would get some Wednesday? Did you actually stop by and get some?
I stopped by on my way home from work and they had nothing, and the manager told me he thought they would get some by Monday. Yeah, I was kinda pissed.
Anyone tried these other fruit beers? http://beeradvocate.com/lists/style/9 I've only had woodchuck which I find kinda meh. Never had strawberry, raspberry or cherry flavors though.
