Never get into an argument with a Vegan. They are the worst kind of ignorant.

(To be fair it's not usually their fault. Most of them don't get all 8 of their essential amino acids.)

If you like meat switch to salmon or tuna. Has the protein required but the omega stored in there actually fights the excess cholesterol that might be clogging your heart valves. Plus it also helps the joints in you’re body.

Right now I live on fish as I’m cutting up for a competition.

Dude, you need to mix in some ice cream or an apple pie or something. Maybe hang out with Fatty, review some Jack in the Box with him. o_O

At some point I will read this thread, and tell all of you why you are either slightly right or slightly wrong.

Tuna you can get them in brine water in cans from almost any supermarket. You don’t need to coock it. Salmon usually with some boiled carrots and potatoes is beautiful in a grill for 45 minutes at minimum temperature. Add some tobasco sauce if you feeling adventurous lol

Low in calories and high in protein and omega. You’re joints and heart will thank you for it my man

Not really. There's still saturated fat and cholesterol in fish.

This is some life coach material. I wonder what happened to @Lil Pun ...

For salmon, mayo, panko, oven and internet. Easy no brain starter if you're afraid of overcooking and having dry salmon

If you like tuna salad sando, isn't too hard to find a recipe. You graduate when you move away from premade juices or powders and do it yourself

Not necessarily. Impossible burgers are actually worse than lean ground meat in many cases:

100 grams (3.5 ounces) of lean ground beef (10% fat) contains:

    • 217 calories
    • 12 g fat (5 g saturated)
    • 90 mg cholesterol
    • 70 mg sodium
    • 0 g carbohydrate
    • 0 g fiber
    • 26 g protein
Keep in mind that the caloric and fat values of ground beef increase as the fat percentage increases.

The 4-ounce Impossible Burger 2.0 comes pretty close to beef, nutritionally, but way more sodium and less protein:

    • 240 calories
    • 14 g fat (8 g saturated)
    • 0 g cholesterol
    • 370 mg sodium
    • 9 g carbohydrate
    • 3 g fiber
    • 19 g protein

It's not baby steps. There's a linear relationship between saturated fat and cholesterol intake and heart disease risk. I wouldn't consider eating foods that cause heart disease "baby steps" towards preventing heart disease.

Also, the fishing industry is a modern day atrocity. People who continue to eat fish are directly responsible for the future collapse of eco-systems, global climate, and eventually modern civilization. Eating animals will eventually destroy us.

If you're at competition level, you should do a diet/exercise AMA thread here. I suspect it would be well received.

Hey @jacoby, I got a question for you.

I have a cow with a busted hip. She's in pain and cannot walk much.

What should I do with her?
