Ok, I was just getting my hopes up about watching T-Mac and the Rockets FINALLY on NATIONAL TV, especially with T-Mac trying his hardest against Kobe.

This is unbelievably depressing not only for tonight (we will probably lose and I don't get to see some highlights) but for the team as long as T-Mac is out.

Regardless, I'm still hoping for the best until we get an article confirming he's not playing tonight.

I don't think the doubters here should hate too much on McGrady. If you watched on FSN they showed him in a shootarounds, dude was sweating pretty good. Then they showed him hunched over. They guy wants to play. Why wouldn't he want to play? He just can't right now. And a few more days is not too big a deal. Better than a few weeks.

Let's hope for the best, hope for Tracy's health, and hope that the team can keep it together for Mac's return.

the one you dont want to see is "TMac to retire"- out for the season makes no sense. He should be back soon.

hey evan kiss my a@#, guess what why dont you stop running your mouth......t-mac dsnt have 3 slipped disks(if he does he is in trouble at 27), and if he does, we need to get rid of him cuz that is never getting better! im glad you played high school football but before you assume thats what i was talking about why dont you ask dumba@#. basic back spasms are JUST NERVE INFLAMATION that is what the rockets have always told us he has, NOT that he had three slipped disks. if that is the case his career is OVER! you might be to soft to play through back spasms, but check around the league it is a common injury that alot of players play through. like i said i love t-mac but i am beginning to question his toughness..........every time he gets bumped he gets hurt. dikembe concussion.......bruised abdomen.......tweeked ankle..........all of these either caused him to leave the game or play like he was 50......i am sorry for 17 million you could cut off my foot and i would feel like i owed it to my employers to go to work. also you said i had them while i was young, 27 is old? by the way i dont think i am a bad a@# i know i am.................evan. thanks for pointing that out, patrick :D

You've got to be kidding me. Iverson shoots 30 shots a game and does it POORLY. The only thing he does really well is get to the free throw line - which obviously is useful. But c'mon...

    You said you were young:
You've established for me that you are talking out of your rear, don't have any clue what is actually going on with McGrady, nor any medical knowledge beyond your own limited experiences, so I'm not going to do anything more than put you on block.

Keep on with your bad self...

As long as we hold homecourt advantage and TMac is close to 100% for the playoffs, I don't care. Not like the man is faking his injury...he's hurt bad...he's just not built like a Kobe or DWade...don't hate for that...his desire is strong and he WILL BE BACK :D

I really like T-mac and I don't doubt his heart. I think he deserved the chance to get better between seasons without being traded, but I think we've reached the point where we have to consider trading him if we can.

The problem is that not many teams would take Tmac with his problematic back and return us with some values. I love Tmac too, I truly do. At this point, we could just hope he can nurse his back and Van Gundy will limit his minutes when he comes back. Trade at this point is not an option, from business stand point of view too. Even as desperate as the sixers, I doubt they would want to get Tmac and his huge contract at this point.

i was young, t-mac is 27, that is not old...................you misunderstood what i was saying.....................by the way unless college is wrong back spasms are NERVE INFLAMATION(studied to become a PT while in college so i know about sports injuries) so say what you will about my knowledge.
and i will keep on with my bad self, :D thankyou. here is hoping for everything i am saying is wrong and t-mac will get better for more than 20 game stretches........he is my favorite player, but we cant be held captive every time he tweeks his back cuz it looks like it isnt going to go away.
