I get back spasms from a car wreck i was in...All it takes is one move the wrong way and i promise it feels like someone just stabbed you. You can't walk and your legs give out !! Now on Vicadin I could walk :D I just always thought that in professional sports if you had pain they just shot you up and you could do wonders ? What happened to those days ?

T-Mac for AI is starting to get interesting. By now I thought AI would have already been traded. The more this keeps going with the Sixers, maybe just maybe the Rockets will pull the trade for AI. I believe Bonzi will also be included in the deal if it goes down. I can only dream. Oh, well I am just upset. A Rockets lost always does that to me.

I just bought tickets to the Spurs vs Rockets game Dec 22nd and I am going to be pissed if T-Mac is not back by then. I went to Houston a couple of weeks ago to watch them play the Cavs and T-mac went down that game. He needs Acupuncture damnit.

doubt what you will buddy.........i dont know what you did to your back but back spasms are just nerve inflamation.....ie nothing is really wrong, it just really hurts when you move in certian ways (and dont missunderstand me they HURT) that is what tracy has wrong with him, unless they are keeping something from us  you may have had something worse i have no idea, but trust me back spasms are something you can play through.

good let's bench Yao until Wednesday too. Garbage games anyways. Let our death squads hedge the Lakers and Spurs.

Assuming Mcgrady gets voted to the NBA All-Star game do you think he should skip going to avoid risking injury?

Even if TMac can play next Wednsday, how many games he can play? If he can't recover after 5 months' rest, how can we expect he can after 2 week.

    This is really too bad.

If we have to look at TMac's back before buying a ticket, Rox better make a move asap.

No Offense, T-Mac is my fav player in the game but the Rockets are my favorite team

I suffered last year and I waited with excitement all summer long till the NBA started. As a fan I'm not going to let T-Mac pull the pussyfied back spasms again. Whether it's legit or not I'm not to going to let it happen again without b/tching about it.

Tradecy Mcgrady has got to go if he can't play for us, because without another player close to his caliber on this team we aren't going deep into the playoffs. I don't want Iverson but he's the only one on the table at the moment, go get him guys. I'm officially in my B/TCH State of Mind

I prefer not to rush on it. Let T-Mac get a little more time to back to his full health.

Stop running your mouth unless you know what you're talking about. McGrady has degenerative disc disease setting off his back spasms, it is NOT "just nerve inflammation" (which is wrong anyway - inflammation causes pinching of the nerves and setting them off).

You had them while young, so I'll assume you didn't have 3 discs slipping out of position like McGrady does.

This is NOT something you can gut out and play with. I'm happy you think you're a bad ass because you played HS football like a lot of us did, but quit acting like you know what McGrady's really going through. Your back spasms are NOT the same as his back condition.

Of all the times, it has to be now. When we are finally actually playing some good opponents. Lakers twice, clippers, and the spurs. This was the chance to make a statement that we are for real.

Yeah, we should calm down a little bit. Just because the press and some of us who have always been complaining about his back spasms prob, he has to push himself on a tight schedule to get back to the court ASAP, even sometimes he isn't 100%. Probably he won't be the old T-mac forever, however, as long as he wears our jersy and contributes on the court, we'd better give him some encouragement rather than cursing words.

I don't think it's the time to talk about "Tracy for AI" trade. For Rockets, a T-mac with back spasms is better that an AI who has always been playing in his way. I do admire AI's character. He is an idol for millions of fans around the world. But he is not better than T-mac for Rox. He doesn't know how to feed inside players. He doesn't share the ball a lot. The most important thing is that he doesn't know how to play with low speed. (Unfortunately, our big man has to play like that.) Thus, for now, I prefer to wait for T-mac's come back, rather than a fast AI.

I am a doc up in Austin and am really curious as to what they are doing for T-Mac right now besides loading him up on meds. Does anyone know for sure what the treatment is? Also, someone mentioned his email address. Does someone have a way to contact him or anyone that is involved in his treatment? Thanks for the info.
