I am not even going to try to read all the posts in this thread but I'll just say that my interest in Kate Beckinsale is for her looks; I could care less what she thinks about American football, baseball, or anything else. Yes, I am shallow, so what?
It just appears that the only time soccer "news" is talked about on the radio or t.v. is when an incident occurs involving fans, no matter how minor or small it is. If you're going to report about soccer, report everything (results and such) not just the bad stuff that happens off the field. Be fair! Every sport has it's deficiencies (fans, player, style, quality), don't belittle soccer just cause you don't like it. Like I said in the past, I could care less that people in this country don't like the beautiful game, just don't make ignorant assertions and bash it when people are seriously discussing it (i am not talking about this thread b/c this one is waaaaaaay off topic) but in soccer threads in general. Also, I wanna clear something up with that story that people keep referring to in which the player that was killed for scoring an own goal in the World Cup. It occurred in 19 freaking 94 and it was more complicated than a stupid fan killing him. Last I recall, it had to do with the Colombian mob. Quit referring to the same incident that happenned close to 12 years ago.
I don't care what she says because everybody has their own opinions. That being said, I'd still boink her.
