That's why you go out and get role players that can knock down OPEN shots.

I can't imagine MJ, Kobe or even LBJ crying about a teammate being selfish and leaving the team. They would of kicked that players ass, or had them traded.

KD doesn't realize, the shots get harder, not easier when Curry is your PG. Westbrook also plays defense, a job Curry and Harden think they are above. He went to a team where he could fade into the background, not be the conductor.

The pertinent is that changing the coach didnt matter, because Westbrook will play the same way.

We will see if this hklds true for Harden.

Maybe Dray Green can help him.

We just have to eek out those 2 years of Durant as GSWarrior.

    Excruciatingly painful.

    I hope Lebron wins 2 more. ;)

Maybe if KD doesnt turn the ball over time and time again late in 4th quarters he would be on a world tour with the larry obrien trophy.

"wants to take uncontested shots" pffff what a clown.

    Agreed

The whole of the article is. . . . KD LEFT BECAUSE IT WAS TOO HARD
and HE WANTED TO GO WHERE IT WAS EASIER

    I mean at golden state
he can score 18 points a game . .. on open looks. . . win 68 games and a ring
he don't have to worry cause if they lose its curry or klay
    He can basically chill

At the end of the day . . . other than money he is no different than David West
    He chasing a ring

lol - way to take a singular point out of a full stance and try to critique it to dispute the full take. Furthermore, way to completely miss the drafting, the recent fleecing of Orlando and the overall performance of a team that had/s to depend on gm's prowess because free agents don't want to go to that butthole of a town.

At the end of the day, Durant had to look out for his self interest.

GS is a proven winner, they are willing to pay the LT, they have a big market, are in one of the top cities in the world, and he gets to play with players he likes and respects. The other option was Oklahoma City. He would be stupid to stay. This is not Lebron and Cleveland. He has no ties to Oklahoma City.

Sticky ball players can't win a ring, Iverson, Dantley, Westbrook, Harden - you need to give up the rock to your teamates to win in the NBA.

Even Jordan did not win until he started passing more.

Actually he's no different from Moses Malone, Karl Malone, LeBron or any player who wants/wanted to win a championship. And I don't see you folks applauding guys like Bob Lanier for sticking with teams like he did with the Milwaukee Bucks only to ultimately end up ringless. In fact, were it not for Moses Malone, we'd be adding Julius Erving to that list as well. After all, not everyone can be like Wes Unseld.

I"m shocked that Durants doesn't like getting the ball with 5 seconds left!!

    SHOCKED!!!!

No wonder he doesn't want to play with his best friend, Harden

It's funny that OKC was one game away from the finals, and Durant's horrible play in the later part of the series was probably the biggest reason they didn't advance, but the article insinuates that Durant left because he felt the team had plateaued due to Westbrook hogging the ball. Whatever. Durant choked when it mattered most, and if anyone should shoulder the blame for their failure in the Western conference finals this year it's him.
