Just from a female POV, it doesn't matter what you do because the guy never chooses the girl. The girl chooses you. But when it's right you'll know because that person will make everything seem right. Love is when that person can make small things seem big, and big things seem small. Love is being able to fuss and fight and makeup because its really not that big of a deal. Love is when that person takes your breath away time and time again. For me I know I fall in love with Astro all over again everytime I talk to him, or he smiles, or he is sleeping, or just anytime I think about him. I love him beyond belief and its not scary to be 21 and engaged. Loving someone is about what you put into it, but I can bet that whenever you fall in love, no matter who the girl is, she'll always be the most beautiful girl in the world to you and thats all that really matters.
That was one of the most beautiful things I've read in a long time...Did you get that from Hallmark... Seriously, very nice and well put...You're right, the girl always chooses..
how old are you? unless you're looking for a wife, which i bet you're not cuz they're beautiful girls (not girls who can cook) hit all of them up and leave...
I would say that in many cases, they both choose. That's what happened in our relationship. As Fatty obliquely pointed out, my pet owl was a great ice breaker. (I said Hi! from under a large bush... where I was digging for worms, my owl sitting on my shoulder. god, my wife was beautiful. didn't know she'd end up my wife, of course!) We lived together, off and on, for 4 years, and then I proposed while we were in bed, watching Disney's Wide World of Color. (Oh, the colors!! ) That was 29 years ago. Trippy.
Thanks. I gotta tell Hallmark to stop stealing my stuff. Yes thats even true if you're Asian. Ok so the guy chooses to pursue you but if the girl doesn't like you its over. The guy has some say but mostly the girl chooses. Although in our relationship I think we got lucky, since his parents liked me enough to set us up. But then I decided we were getting married. He was just dumbstruck enough by my awesomeness to agree!
