Wow. The fact that promiscuity was a part of gay culture in the US pre-AIDS (even obviously sympathetic movies like Longtime Companion don't deny that) is a whole other issue. What you're saying is that because they were promiscuous, they don't deserve sympathy. That's not only cold as ice, it's f*cking r****ded. NYKRule, AIDs was being misdiagnosed for a decade or more while the HIV was spreading. this statement you made, "shouldn't the majority of them be blamed? " is just statistically stupid. If 75% of AIDS cases in America were gay men, that total in no way comes close to the majority of gay men in America....you stupid dork. Plus, that stat is skewed since AIDs was not being properly diagnosed early on. If anything, the Gay community stopped the spread via awareness and education.

The minority of a minority were the majority that had AIDS. They knew something was wrong. They didn't know how to diagnose it. The people knew they were contracting a million other things, and the medical community knew it was mainly from gay men. I don't think the medical community knew that these people were doing something so out of the ordinary such as having sex with 1000s of people that were having sex with 1000s of people..etc. "The minority of the minority were the majority" that spread it.

Why can't it be 'gross'? Would YOU kiss another guy? Why not? Because that would be gross, duh. What is so offensive about that?
