pretty much. interesting thing is that 45 win okc team last year led by WB would likely be good enough to make the playoffs now. The west was just so deep last year. The bottom teams in the west are just benefiting from a down year now in the West. Being able to make the playoffs as a .500 team this year is just the luck of the draw.
I guess I was remembering the team that hovered around .500 all season until the last 13 games, then averaged 87 pts/game when they got demolished by the #4 seed Celtics in the first round. At any rate, guess who the #2 leading scorer on that 09-10 Heat team was?
