Just a simple and general poll to see what us Clutchies think. Is it possible that we could have a New York Knicks discovery of Jeremy Lin in Michael Beasley in these last few games? (This is what the season has come to).

    Lets get the movement started!!!!

He's not what we need, unless he can do it consistently off the bench. I SO wish we would give KJ more time. He has every tool to be Kawhi Leonard Lite. Just getting paid to play D-League ball...

If you would have told me six months ago we would be having this conversation (you know - nosediving towards the ground and seriously pondering if Michael Beasley, freshly scooped out of Japan or wherever the hell he was playing, could give us a desperately needed boost), I probably would have slapped you.

I disagree. He is exactly what the rockets need. A powerfoward that can straight up score. Hit a midrange jumper consistently, and hit the three. Doi.

There are 2 sides to every Lin-themed discussion. Truth and experience OR idealization and possibility.

You know, Linsanity works, because it blends only ONE FREAKING LETTER to an existing word and contains Lin's ENTIRE NAME in it.

Even if we use Kevinsanity for someone named Kevin (notice how the "in" is already part of the name like Lin, so it indeed blends) it's still a quite dorky portmanteau, compared to Linsanity.

To be fair, the OP is using the name to compare it to Linsanity.

That said, the situations are totally opposite. Lin was an undrafted nobody working hard to stick somewhere in the league. Beasley was regarded highly when drafted who squandered his talent because of his low character level.

BTW, Vinsanity was the original nickname, which worked even though the whole name Vince was not in there.

The whole name is there, when you say it. And I'm sure it was invented verbally (like rapping) before we tried to spell it.
