This is probably a fabrication. Horry recently had an interview on ESPN in the daily dime I believe, and he's like (paraphrasing) "I'll play for free...anybody, preferably a chance to win, but no team has tried to contact me at all." And then the interviewer kept mentioning team names and saying there have been reports that this and that team is interested in you, and Horry was like (paraphrasing) "I wish that was the case, but non of it is true. Nobody has contacted me to gauge interest or anything like that".
