How many of you out there believed Harden would begin to be THIS good? What I mean to say is, we are watching this guy with legendary game just get it started.
I had initial reservations about the trade....something about Jeremy Lamb and that draft pick.

But now, James has me believing we're going to all be part of something special/historic, a career loaded with titles.....and MVP's.

I was for the trade, but I was worried he was going to be Joe Johnson when we signed him. Before you trash me, JJ was pretty good his first year in Atlanta.

    He's gone beyond my expectation.

I thought he was Ginobili and not a first option. He's proven he is much better and mostly definitely option 1a

I'm pretty sure even at the time of the trade, I said Harden was likely to be the best SG of the next generation. I bought into all the stat geek numbers of his in OKC, which stated how he was actually more awesome when Durant/Westbrook were off the court.

I've been wrong plenty(Patterson, Morris, DMo to some extent all come to mind). But I was definitely on the Harden bandwagon the moment I got the news.

I did not regret the trade at all, but I thought Harden would get around 18-19 ppg.

I was flipping out when we got him. As another poster said, I bought into all the stat geek stuff, especially the high TS%. He seemed to have a game that if/when he just started to get the mid-range and 3 pt game going along with some above average defense, he could be a star.

Beyond excited to get to watch this guy develop.

he was my favorite player pryor to trade. i had actually gave up basketball and decided funck the NBA after i was certain we would trade for dwight and got shafted by LA.

Than harden happened, and i damn near punch my than GF in the face in exasperation. i ran down stairs and party boy'ed my homeboy with the good news.

never doubted it. BUT this good, this clutch, this funckin awesome. is just wowowowowowowow...

even tho we lost, it wasnt because of hardens heroics being clutch again. but Durant is just amazingly good.

I thought we gave to much in the trade for Harden, but I was wrong. I was wrong about Howard being a candy-a$$. I was wrong thinking Asik, Lin, Parsons, DMo &/or Jones would be traded at the deadline. I am happy with the Brooks for Hamilton trade.

I AM HAPPY I AM WRONG!

I remember when I first saw Harden play for an extended period of time (I think it was in the playoffs during his second season) and I turned to my friend and said, "holy ****, that guy's going to be special."

Was ecstatic when we traded for him, though I would have drafted him in my fantasy league if the trade had gone through about 1.5 hours earlier

However, I never thought he would be this DAMN GOOD. It's amazing. We're lucky to have such an awesome player.

What was there to doubt? We gave up basically nothing for the man.

Kmart was already out the door for us mentally.
Lamb was a MAYBE, and still is.
The Pick which turned into Adams didn't look to be a franchise player.

I expected Harden to be more of a 2nd option.

But seems like he can take over games pretty well.
