[BCS NC Game] #1 Oklahoma Sooners vs. #2 Florida Gators

It was obvious the Sooners were going to lose this game halfway through the 3rd quarter.

They're used to high octane, get up and down the field, quick striking offense.

They tried to set that tempo early, but the battle of wills turned decidedly in Florida's favor and they turned this into a typical SEC-type game. And then defense and ball control did the rest.

This is what we were talking about -- Oklahoma and other Big XII high octane offenses just won't cut it in the SEC. Their defense, to their credit, stepped up big in this game after getting maligned for a while, but it's clear who has the superior defense today.

 

Utah > Florida > UT obviously*

Wow after that commentator just described Tebow, I've finally discovered that Tebow is second coming of Jesus. Either that or Gandhi.

 

The ranking are effed anyway.

OU lost to Texas
Texas lost to Tech
Tech lost to Ole Miss
Ole Miss lost to Vandy


Florida was the solid bet.

 

Good game. Both teams played well.

 

Oklahoma did face a good defense in october, and like tonight, they again ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.

 

The best defense in the big 12 was UTs unfortunately they got screwed. UF is good, but I think UT is better.

He actually said something to the effect of "you can't talk about Tebow enough" and I was thinking "no, you can and you have." The guy isn't a freakin god. He's just a good college QB who does good things off the field, like millions of other people.
