Hmmm....kinda like Orakpo, Roy Miller and Quan Cosby missing significant parts, or even nearly all of the Tech game? But tell me- they aren't very good, are they? I'm not much of a fan of this so called "football" you describe.....

My favorite days are when Fatty comes on this site, makes a belligerent ass of himself, and then tries to make it look like WE are all the crazy ones. I call those "weekdays."

florida beats ou by the same margin and in almost the exact same way (close game in 4th, take 3 point lead, stop sooners, take 10 points lead, stop sooners and run out clock) and their claim is solidified but we don't belong in the conversation. they beat alabama, a team with a mediocre qb, a strong running game and nice defense and we beat ohio state with mostly the same credentials, they beat georgia we beat oklahoma state and missouri. we both lost to similarly ranked teams, except we lost on the road and they at home.

i'm not seeing how us not beating ohio state by enough is the only game that counts now. any more than not beating arizona (or michigan or new mexico in Utah's case) by enough should count. or any more than losing on the road or to a barely ranked team should count. somehow Texas's whole season has been reduced to one game now.

You do realize that nobody but Texas fans will ever agree with this argument right? Whats worse is even if you won and somehow the AP put Texas at the top of the list, Texas fans would be the only ones that think Texas deserves the championship.

If the NFL had the BCS the patriots would have been the champs last year (16-0) right?... or would they. They might have been in a non BCS division!!! You realize just how stupid the whole process is? It means nothing and is worth nothing. Paper championships .
