The BCS games all suck which didn't surprise me that it turned out like that. Seriously, the system that college football has is a joke. I'm a Georgia fan and I agree that they shouldn't be playing for the title since they were unfortunate enough not to make the SEC Championship Game (f*cking Tennessee kept making all these escape acts to win like they did against Vanderbilt and Kentucky); however, like Mark Richt said, there was no rule in the BCS that said that you had to play in a conference championship game to make it to the BCS national title game. The fact that the media automatically disqualified Georgia after Saturday's games was pretty damn disgusting. Just go ahead and add that to yet another "tweak" of the BCS that you have to win your conference championship game (if your conference has one) to make it to the BCS national title game.

I would love to see a Georgia - LSU matchup since they didn't play each other in the regular season. Hell, I would have loved to see Georgia play either USC or Oklahoma or even Virginia Tech. Once again, the best matchups that the BCS could provide us were left on the table as they failed miserably. Why is it so hard to have a Georgia-USC and Oklahoma-Virginia Tech matchups?

LSU - Ohio State - on paper, this looks like a mismatch as LSU has the better overall athletes at about every position. However, this could have been said in 2002 when OSU played Miami. Hopefully, LSU assrapes OSU as I absolutely deplore the Suckeyes.

Oklahoma - West Virginia - this will be a joke as WVU is way too one-dimensional. Blow U will shut down their running game and make this game a farce.

USC - Illinois - how did Illinois get in to this game? And over Missouri?? USC pounds the **** out of the Illini.

Virginia Tech - Kansas - let me know when Kansas has played anyone this year outside of Missouri and Va Tech. Oh, I guess I will be waiting awhile on that one. I can seriously picture Va Tech winning by 30 or more in this one.

Georgia - Hawaii - the biggest joke of them all as Georgia is in the classic no-win situation. They are expected to win so if they do, everybody will say ho-hum but if they lose, we will probably never hear the end of it since we still haven't heard the end of Boise State beating OU. Hopefully, Georgia absolutely tears Hawaii a new *******.

And I would love to see someone force Notre Dame to join the Big 10, have them rename the conference (since they now have TWELVE teams) and force those asshats to have a conference championship game. The Pac-10 needs to have a conference championship game, too.

Arizona State dismantled the first team that beat OU after spotting them 14 quick points. This OU team that also is behind both Mizzou and Kansas in computer polls.

Getting a second chance to beat OU was also an oppertunnity for Mizzou. It just didn't work out for them. Meanwhile LSU and Oklahoma used those championship games to get one in the chapionship game and the other close, both leapfrogging Georgia and Kansas. So the championship game is an advantage/oppertunnity sometimes (if you need to make ground), sometimes it isn't (if you need to hold ground). From your perspective you would only want championship games to factor in IF you win them?

Personally, yeah I think Mizzou had a stronger resume than Kansas (who had zero wins against top 25 teams). But it isn't that much better (see computers 4-2 for Mizz but mostly real close), nor is it like the Orange Bowl versus the Cotton is that huge a deal consider these teams history--the conferences split the money anyway. So of the gripes, Kansas over Mizz just seems like a really minor one.

Your recollection was better than mine, I forgot the polls got that close late in the season.
