Man, sucks that the horns lost, but you should hold your heads high...you made it a game with a freshman backup against the best of the SEC. No doubt in my mind you win with Colt healthy

Oh my god, now starts the SEC chant, when UT's 19 year old backup QB nearly pulled off an all-timer over thier vaunted D and their offense went into the fetal position for a half.

Hey note to Bama fans.....maybe you should chant "BAMA! or TIDE!" or something to that effect. NC's only come around so often...maybe you shouldn't try to share it with South Carolina et al.

'Bama got lucky. Not sure if it's what the Bama coaches intended, and they changed it at halftime, but this game plan against McCoy would have gotten their butt kicked. I absolutely loathe the prevent offense in anything but the last couple of minutes of a game. Because once you start it, your players lose their edge and its very hard to get back. Bama could not have asked for anything easier after that turnover.

    What?

    I'm serious.

UT O did an amazing job with a QB barely past puberty against a crazy good Alabama D.

UT D beat the crap out of Bama, too.

I think USC was way overhyped.

This performance impressed the HELL out of me.

I'm proud of the horns. They could've folded when colt went out but they came back and fought.

    Pure lack of class there......

    LACK OF CLASS...

The best team lost.......should have let Colt give it a go...if it was not broken....got to admire Mack for looking out for his future over a win in the NC game.

So if Texas had pulled off this comeback.....what are the odds of a non-sarcastic "BIG TWELVE BIG TWELVE" chant arising?

That pretty much proved Colt McCoy is a system QB.

Wait, you get the ball with 2 minutes to go in a game you lead by 10 and arent taking knees after getting the 1st down??

Alabama should start using their timeouts once UT gets the ball back.

Texas didn't take their timeout left.

You don't take your timeout you get a TD punched in your gut.

Oh, really- what were they supposed to do, kneel at the 5? That would've made it look like they were having pity on UT- even more embarrassing.

D gift wraps 21 pts for Bama.

I say UT wins if Colt even plays in the second half. A loss is a loss. Sucks

bottom line is, SEC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Big 12. We hate each other in the big 12. My aggies hate UT, UT hates OU, and vice versa, OSU hates OU and vice versa, and most importantly, WE ALL HATE TECH!

although the SEC has some vicious rivalries, it's still a lot more coherent than our Big 12
