BBS Pick-up game, March 28, League City

I'll have to cancel my reservation, got invited to a co-worker's son's b-day party that same day. Plus, all this freaking pollen in the air is doing wonders for my allergies Hopefully, everyone will be talking about that huge Rockets victory Friday night against the Grizz!!

 

Hey...something I was wondering. At events such as this, does everyone get called by their cc.net name, or do we have to actually learn real names?

 

Mine will be easy.

I'll give anybody the ball when I'm point guard, and unfortunately, I mean anybody.

I might bring a friend from out of town who is even less skilled than I am, but hey, it's all about having fun and the BBQ afterwards.

Even though I don't know any of you, I'd really like to play.

I second Behad's frustration about being a post player and not getting the ball when you cut. Or the ball being jacked up or turned over before you can even get in position. At my regular gym I just started camping out behind the 3 point line because it's the only way you can get the ball. Those people seem to be totally against easy layups or moving at all on offense.

Are people definitely going to show up? I'd hate to drive the 45 miles or so from Kingwood and there only be like 5 people there.

 

DHB, there will be enough for 5 on 5 at least.

What's the setup for the games gonna be?

I heard a rumor that these pickup games Sunday were going to be Final Four style tournament. Any truth to that, cause I would put money on my team taking any others to school.
